You don't have to be a consetvative to hate real estate developers, wealthy Chinese & the politicians who backed them, Iron Horse Jockey.
Truth be known , many people here hated them.
I don't mind if this economic crisis drags down the real estate market in Vancouver & even the economy along with it. It was a long time coming.
The offshore Chinese investors have been colonizing us.
I hope many of them lose their shirts, they are forced to unload their overpriced inflated real estate at firesale prices .
I actually look forward to seeing real estate developers take a good shitkicking.
I don't care if the West Coast real estate market tanks big time.
Actually the condo market was teetering before this crisis hit.
So I wouldn't be surprised if there's a huge glut of condos coming.
Might be yer chance to own a WC condo at bargain prices, IHJ.
Probably a lotta foreclosures & repos comin ta Vancouver.

Perhaps, but I've spent time there.
I could go days without seeing another White person, depending on where I was.
Mexico owns SoCal now, and I don't give a shit what anyone says.
Seeing a White in El Segundo? That's changed.
Long Beach?
No Whitey.
So Cal is a foreign land to me, since I'm Whiter than a sheet of paper.
Nor Cal, in my experience, is better, but California as a whole is not somewhere where I would live.
There isn't much of a middle class in California..
There are lots of rich people and a lot of very poor people.....like Vancouver.
Rents are expensive in Vancouver, Fashionista.
However I don't think they'll lower their prices.
$2,000 per mo for a 1 BR.
$1200 per mo for a Bachelor
Home prices are outrageous in Vancouver and even higher in California.
Anywhere that prog money moves to becomes uninhabitable for the working classes. Screw the West coast of North America.

SoCal has bigger problems than China Virus, trust me... I've been there.Quote from: "Mel"
Homelessness, homeless camps, shitting/pissing in the streets, illegal immigrants, people all packed into a small space.
Dangerous and desperate Negroes/Mexicans...
Trash, barren desert, no fucking water. The English language optional in many areas.
The price they are willing to pay to see sunshine in the Winter, I guess.
SoCal is a dirty shithole, in my opinion, and I would not live there. Exception to that rule would possibly be if I was a multi-millionaire, and could live in a nice White area like Malibu or the likes...
That said, LA is a place that suits some people. If you can make it there, maybe it's OK. If you can't, you'll end up sorry you went there.
Much like most big cities, I suppose.
Also: Enjoy spending two hours to drive a couple miles down the road. Yes, you will live in your fucking car there, sitting in it, for hours, just to drive a few miles.
LA is a city for immigrants now. White people don't belong there...
It wouldn't matter to you since you never leave your filthy little bedsit room anyway.Quote from: "Elderly Broke Virgin"
SACRAMENTO — Gov. Gavin Newsom called Sunday for all senior citizens and residents with chronic conditions to isolate themselves at home, as well as for all bars, wineries and brewpubs to close, launching the state's most sweeping effort yet to slow the spread of coronavirus.
No other state has imposed such restrictions on residents age 65 and older. Newsom said his orders do not come with enforcement but that he expects residents and counties to follow his protocols. California has 5.3 million residents over the age of 65.https://www.politico.com/states/california/story/2020/03/15/california-calls-for-all-seniors-to-stay-home-closure-of-bars-and-wineries-9421938"> https://www.politico.com/states/califor ... es-9421938">https://www.politico.com/states/california/story/2020/03/15/california-calls-for-all-seniors-to-stay-home-closure-of-bars-and-wineries-9421938
