Quote from: "Blurt"Ceec is Lutheran, eh?

I can totally picture her nailing her 99 theses on the door of some religious or political leader, for sure.

Methinks the lady doth Protestant too much.

Seriously, though, I like Lutherans. They're very Calvinist......

No. Not sure what made Fash think that I was Lutheran

"Protestant too much" eh? That's funny

And yes, I do have a healthy chunk of Prussian in me

I was raised "United"  .... then when I grew up they went all weird, reversed 180 everything they used to stand for ..  and left me hanging out there on my own

Don't tell anyone, but I have had fun being naughty and "helping"  2 or 3  disreputables who thot they knew things they didn't know  to think I'm jewish though   ... "gotta go light my candles"  .. " my Manischewitz"etc. etc.  :sneaky2:

It's been great fun "helping" them down their garden path to nowhere

I had no idea if you were raised Lutheran or not..

But, why shouldn't I have fun with Mel too.

Hitler would never have got the traction he enjoyed if it weren't for the onerous conditions put in place at the treaty of Versailles. The French especially but also the English were still butthurt over WW1 and went all in on the attempt to ruin the Germans and in doing so created the conditions ripe for a populist to seize power in Cabbageslopland.

Another thing that could have prevented WW2 would have been if Poland had negotiated with Germany as invited to instead of telling the krauts to get fucked, then running crying to England to come sort shit out, again under the provisions laid out for their protections under the treaty. Little known fact, they ran crying to them again when Stalin came roaring through a few years later. Didnt get quite the result they were looking for as I recall.

And that's not to mention the agreement Hitler had with certain Jewish leaders to expatriate large numbers of Germanic Jews for the purposes of establishing their own Jewish state. The more you know.

Hitler was a cunt, true. But in his defence he was in good company and was kind enough to divert attentions away from their cuntery by disappearing when he was supposed to so that his buddies on the international stage might be lauded as heroes instead.

Jesus was a Jew.

He was celebrating the Passover the night before he was tortured and murdered.

The only difference between Jews and Christians is that modern Jews don't accept him as the Messiah. There shouldn't be any difference between Jews and Christians. I don't get the animosity between the two sects.

I am assuming there is animosity between secular Jews and Christians... in other words, Atheists and Agnostics.

I was partnered to a German gal for over seven years. Her mother was a very devout Lutheran. MIL was very proud of the fact her birthday was on October 3rd, the day the two Deutschlands reunited.

In my seven years orbiting that family, not one mention was made of Hitler.

I'm a four and a half point Calvinist Blurt.
