How cool, I got a typical double poast out of Bigly Smellz and a double from Renee (who used to eschew this vale of tears.) Plus all the Canadians who think I'm a "prog" or that I've ever used the word "woke" in any context at all.

BTW, are you still carrying that Firestar in condition 3? I still say that when you look at world experience and just how quickly a determined assailant can cover ground, carrying in condition 3 will get you killed.

I dispute your assertion and I doubt your memory is that acute. It's also CLEAR that I never suggested you were Canadian, and you've evidently missed various efforts by certain mouth breathing Frostbacks to troll me with that term. And BTW, I don't pack the Firestar unless I'm going heavy, due to the inconveniently heavy all-steel nature of it. These days I generally go SIG, and I've backed off to a 380 with hot loads. Since it's also a 1911 type of system, SAO, condition one is normal practice now -- with either one -- due to the local deterioration in civic manners hereabouts.
