Depends on the rabbit, I guess.  My kid rescued a rabbit from a home that didn't care of it at all...poor thing spent all of it's  life sitting in a hole crawling with bugs...she just grabbed him one day and carried him home on the sky train...I get home from work and she's there with this rabbit smiling at me....I couldn't  get mad, she recorded his living conditions and showed it to me a week earlier....I was very sad....this rabbit tho, only chewed on his toys, followed my daughter everywhere, did everything with her...this rabbit was so consumed with my kid...if she was drawing he would sit and watch, if she was making something, he'd  be right in there  with curiosity, eat together, everything!  Sometimes I would  call up the stairs and look around the stair corner..I would see my kid looking at me, then the rabbit would come hopping and take a peek at me too...it was so hilarious!



This rabbit was different, it had manners  character and was just amazing...thought it was a dog or something lol  I always thought maybe he was just thankful for being rescued and treated properly?  Like he knew?  I allowed this rabbit to be free roam while we were home (only in his pen while sleeping)...he seemed so happy to be free!  I would be cooking and he'd  come into the kitchen to say hello, stand on his back legs and beg for a treat or whatever I was chopping up.



I put a lot of money into that dude, he deserved it tho...sadly, his time with us was short lived, he had many health complications and he passed 😥  I cried for several days over that rabbit and I still miss him...we got him cremated and he has a special corner in our home 💕

rabbits are so adorable, but such an expensive pet...the things never stop eating cause their digestive system is always moving...and they love to  chew phone cords.

My grandson has one. It's an inexpensive pet to care for.
