- October 18, 2020, 04:07:07 PMThe turbulent U.S Election is just weeks away. Democrat Joe Biden, who has always portrayed himself as a regular Joe, an ordinary guy, wants you to believe that he is still that regular Joe and that he is just going after the rich guys. He is lying on all counts.
A central aspect of Joe Biden "economic plan" is the largest tax increase in history. It is, of course, an anti-economic plan in reality. No rational person could think that it will help a recovering economy to drain it of some $4 trillion in tax increases.
Combined with his war on energy, i.e., his Green New Deal, his plan will likely push us into a depression. Economist Stephen Moore and I wrote as much earlier this year.
Plainly stated, raising the costs on American businesses and entrepreneurs, according to the laws of economics, specifically the Law of Demand, and especially to that degree, cannot improve the economy. It can only dimmish it just like a large price increase would reduce sales of any business in a weak economy.
To believe otherwise is not to believe in economics. Sadly, many Americans and even more of our politicians don't.
Beyond Biden's anti-economic plan, he persists in lying to Americans about the nature of his tax hikes. Biden repeatedly says that no one will face a tax increase unless they make over $400,000.
In truth, over time, Biden wants to eliminate the Social Security payroll tax cap. That means that a 15 percent payroll tax would be added to the Biden 39.6 percent income tax rate hike. That payroll tax hike will eventually begin for all those making over $137,700.
There is more, however.
Recently, at an event in Pennsylvania, Biden repeated his lie about his tax increase. He said, once again, that no one making under $400,000 would face a tax increase. Then he said, he didn't make that much and he didn't think anyone at the event did either.
That too was deceitful. You see, according to the Wall Street Journal, Joe Biden Earned $15.6 Million in Two Years After Leaving Office. A considerable part of that income was in the form of a three book deal, which was estimated to be worth $8 million.
Ask yourself if you have ever seen a book by Joe Biden, let alone three.
According to Politico, it is worth noting that the Biden deal followed "a similar book deal former president Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama." It is also worth noting that the company that paid Biden such a handsome sum of money Macmillan Publishers Ltd. Macmillan is an historic British brand. Who owns and controls Macmillian now? Answer: The German Holzbrinck Group. In other words, a German company. Now ask yourself how Germany feels about President Trump.
There is still more.
Given the outcry over the recent alleged Trump tax returns, you would think Joe Biden was a tax saint, would you not? The answer is: of course not.
Instead, Joe Biden and his wife "used" American tax laws to reduce their tax burden. Keep in mind, Biden's income was mostly the book deal fees, speaking income and teaching – the kind of stuff that requires ordinary Americans to pay ordinary income taxes and self-employment taxes.
So, there you have it.
Ordinary Joe Biden, who is demanding a tax increase on Americans, did his best to avoid paying taxes on his million upon millions of his ordinary income. At the same time, he is deceiving Americans about his income while he plans the largest tax increase in history.

The former vice president said that the boilermakers are overwhelmingly endorsing him during a town hall with ABC News when he was pressed to clarify his stance on fracking.
"I'm telling [you] the boilermakers overwhelmingly endorse me, OK, so the boilermakers union has endorsed me because I sat down with them and went into great detail earlier to show their leadership exactly what I would do," he said.
However, the boilermakers union said they haven't endorsed any presidential candidate for the 2020 election.
"The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers has not endorsed any U.S. presidential candidate for the 2020 election," according to a statement on the union's website.

The Senate Judiciary Committee will issue a subpoena to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey after the New York Post's reports on Hunter Biden were blocked, saying that the act may constitute election interference with 19 days away from Nov. 3.
"This is election interference and we are 19 days out from an election," Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) told reporters on Oct. 15, adding that the Judiciary Committee "will issue a subpoena to Jack Dorsey" to testify on Oct. 23. Cruz and Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said they will hold a vote on Oct. 20 on issuing a subpoena.
Cruz accused Dorsey and Twitter of "abusing their corporate power" to censor the Post's reporting on purported Hunter Biden emails that detail lucrative deals involving China's largest private energy company.
Social media firms, he argued, "have a dominance in our lives ... they're publishers" akin to newspapers or television broadcasters. But Twitter's recent actions "crystalizes the problem" of censorship "better than anything I can think of for the American people," he said.
Conservatives, including President Donald Trump, have said that big tech companies such as Twitter, Google, and Facebook have engaged in censorship of their viewpoints, while simultaneously allowing far-left viewpoints to flourish with impunity.
"The power behind these platforms" has been "taken to a level that truly is dangerous," Graham said, stressing to left-leaning individuals: "It could be you tomorrow."
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) said Twitter's "attempt to rig an election ... by monopolies is unprecedented in American history."

Big deal. Some goof says he will lie, cheat and steal. He isn't part of the party. He just claims to be a party activist. As if it is news what some crazy person says. Grow up.
We know you can only read headlines and not entire articles, but Jacks aint the first democRAT to spill the beans that they will only play fair if they win. That party will not even disavow it's nutbar wing. Hence, why Jim Crow Joe will not disavow violent Antifa radicals. They are the base of that extremist US party, not working people.

He said 12 of 14 members "that go to state Democratic Party" are Our Revolution members and "almost our entire delegation" to Colorado's 4th congressional district committee are members too.
Jacks indicated that a Trump 2020 victory could prompt left-wing militants to try starting a civil war. He seemed to back the idea.
In another instance, he said: "When it comes to civil war violence type stuff, there are always military guys, like former guys, that stand up for the right thing. ... When that time comes, then we've got to get those types of people involved."
In that situation, he backed an idea to arm people detained by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
"If it comes down to that, hell yeah man, let's go free people in ICE and give them the guns and be like: 'Here you go. Stand up. You've got a grudge, let's go do it,'" he said.
He praised the anarcho-communist group Antifa, whose followers have been behind much of the rioting in cities across America.
