Just thought I'd set the record straight (well, straighter, at any rate) about Joe's nosing around in Montreal.



It's not that big of a deal, I think. He'd said that he'd poked around Quebec online archival sites (not sure which ones but I seem to remember him talking about the Quebec National Archives or the ones at Laval University), looking for info on, and probably photos of, the Montreal Playboy Club and the Playboy Bunnies that worked there--of which my mother was one.



Not 100% sure about this but he seems to have been able to make connections and zero in on that aspect of our family's life, especially given that my brother and I had at one point talked openly of our mother's Bunnyhood on VF (way back when the stalkers hadn't crawled out of the woodwork yet).



Regardless, I doubt he stalked me personally while he was in Montreal (I don't think we knew of each other at the time of his visit) but the annoying thing is that, once he got the connection, he started bringing up our mother in a string of stalker-ish posts on VF, even going so far as posting archival photos of the Montreal Bunnies in those posts, photos he knew full well had a high likelihood of having my mother as one of their subjects. From that moment on, Eddie, who took the silver platter opportunity handed to him by Joe, dug a little deeper and had a field day.



It all just feels icky, know what I mean?

That being said, rational skepticism is rational. And healthy. Especially online where you never really know who's who and what's what until many years of digital elbow-rubbing have come and gone. So I can't blame you, I guess.
