Clarice is OK I guess. A bit hokey as she alone captures criminals despite may FBI on the scene

I'll give it a "medium" so far & stay open before making my final rating

Agreed, it has been entirely underwhelming.

But then again, so we're all of the follow up movies to Silence of the Lambs.

I saw the original Silence and thought it was at least well acted & almost believable plot. Did not see any follow ups so am unaware of any connections this series has to Silence

I'm not sure why they even mention Silence  in relation to this series  :confused1:  - the first 2 episodes were just another FBI type series and one  that was not at all believable .. FBI and all police work is all about teamwork .. this was all about lone wolf within the FBI  .. interesting, but not realistic

"Prodigal Son" reminds me more of the psychopath doctor as that element is always front and center

I liked the one that went back Dr Lecter's youth.

Terrible.

VANCOUVER -- A report to be presented to Vancouver's police board on Thursday reiterates what officers warned the public earlier in 2020: hate crime incidents have increased in the city.

The annual summary explores a variety of statistics in the city, including decreases in reports of sex offences and robberies, and increases in culpable homicide and assaults.

Also among the increases were hate crimes, particularly those against people of Asian descent.

The report says the number of incidents overall was 280 in 2020, up from 142 the year before. This is an increase of 97 per cent.

Anti-Asian hate crime incidents spiked by a much higher percentage. There were just 12 reports in 2019, but 98 were reported last year

I don't think it's ratings are that great either. I like Silence of the Lambs, so I will check it out.

I have met Filipinos in Surrey who say they have been harassed by South Asians.

I would expect a little of that.
