It also developed superior radar and employed computers to break the Enigma code system. The atomic weapon was essentially a British technology moved to America where it could be more safely developed.
Germany's main advantage was in submarines and tanks. But even their tanks were not as advanced as is commonly believed. They were highly successful early in the war due to numerical rather than technical advantage.
Even the much lauded "Stuka" was a only a limited light bomber rather than the aerial superiority fighter often portrayed in movies.British technology gave birth to the mighty Lancaster heavy bomber that decimated Germany with carpet bombing raids.
British technology also enabled them to destroy German dams as the famous Dam Buster squadron proved.

Even in countries of Western Europe like the Netherlands this is true..
Although Poland was devastated by the second world war.

Why is this an argument? 6 million. 3 million. 1 million.

3 million jews and gypsies.
We are taught the number 6 million jews over and over again.

There were thousands of pieces of evidence submitted at the Nuremberg trial. Goebbels, and Himmler spoke of genocide against a number of peoples. The world never knew exact numbers, but the evidence is clear a genocide happened.

I believe Eichmann was one of them. Maybe it was at the Nuremburg trial that one or more defendents revealed that number. I'd have to look it up and I don't care enough to do that.
When questioned by interrogators if orders for the extermination of Jews were delegated in writing by Himmler, Adolf Eichmann states:
I never saw a written order, Herr Hauptmann. All I know is that Heydrich said to me: "The Führer has ordered the physical extermination of the Jews." He said that as clearly and surely as I'm repeating it now.

Yosef Mizrachi, a controversial ultra-Orthodox rabbi based in New York has said that fewer that one million Jews were killed in the Holocaust, claiming most of those counted among the usually cited figure of six million were not Jewish according to rabbinical law.
