Me personally, I think it more headache than it's worth; IP matching itself is an imperfect science; even if you can categorically point to two user accounts that share the same IP, you have no way of knowing if it is one person or many who happen to be sharing the same connection/machine and are reduced to logical deduction for want of something more concrete.

Also, punctuation is no longer the golden standard it used to be. A good many english teachers these days struggle to spell worth a damn, never mind puctuate correctly and this problem affects many so called educated people in a myriad of ways.
