I couldn't live in a city anymore. I'm a coastal country bumpkin through and through. I need the simple things in life: a great woman, my V6, a motorcycle, sustainable fresh produce, a plentiful supply of fish and waves, and some salt air in the lungs.

PS: L.A 's skyline is looking massively polluted!

That is probably most pollution.   Look up the definition of coastal haze.  It is basically low hanging clouds (kind of like a fog) which comes in during the evening and hangs around until it burns off mud morning.  In that photo the sun is in the west so that is the coastal haze coming in off the ocean.

Yeah, you're probably right. I take clean air for granted I guess.

See, I question the assertion that Chicongo is the rattiest city in the US... I reckon that honour should rightly go to New Yuck.

Yep, trash is every where in L.A. and there are rats everywhere.  You'd think public health officials would be worried but Democrats probably would claim it is some how "racist" to get rid of the rats.

Downtown LA and other parts. I live near the coast. They've been cleaning up around here. Nowhere near as many homeless as when I first moved here in 2018.

LA is a shithole.  Years ago I used to truck into LA on a regular basis, and have come to the conclusion that LA would only be livable if 90% of its populace were sent to the gas chambers.

I was only ever there once, for a meeting. I stayed a week. I didn't see much because it was snowing like crazy.

I regularly travel to The Chicongo. Much of what surrounds downtown looks like a terd wurld city with people urinating out in the open and panhandlers walking between traffic during red lights. I carry a pistol even though I can get fired for it and even though its illegal.

Second only to Chicago. With the homeless population exploding and the tent cities, rats are everywhere. They are finding diseases and plagues that only existed in the middle ages. Staff infections, etc... The mosquitos are biting rats and spreading nasty shit. No wonder Erica wants to go to Texas to see Kiebers.
