Big Corp knows full well that by democrats raising their minimum wage by 25% the local joints are now allowed to raise their prices by 10-15% thus increasing margins by a significant factor.

Total cost of a 25% wage hike? Lets say it's 1000.00 a week in your average store. Profits increased via 10-15% hike in prices? 2000.00 for that same week.
