Oh, I know. They're defaulting to type, bullshitting their ever decreasing audiences with the same old lies while more and more are saying "fuck that noise" and in all too many cases looking at the evidence for themselves.

Jimmy Dore is right; Cornell West is torpedoing his chances of any traction whatsoever. The dems are practically out of runway, the amount of Hurt on the population coupled with recency bias leaves the Biden camp galloping up Diarrhea Drive without a saddle. They're going to have to pull a lot more out of their arse than bullshit and ballot rigging to get them across the line this time, in spite of what some TDS suffering nig in a fright wig says.

You still need to do your part. Vote early, leave no option open for them to pull any last minute fuckery at the ballot box on the day. Do the Scott Pressler thing, knock on a few doors and encourage like minded people to do the same. You know the talking points to bring... and if you don't, watch some Steven Crowder or Styxhexenhammer of James O'Keefe for further guidance.

Most important of all, get in the habit of holding your (hopefully successful) candidate''s toes to the fire. "I agree with you; I want to do it; now make me do it"... wise words from a wheelibin that could do with a little judicious adherence. I get the feeling you won't have to works as hard on that where Trump is concerned, but hold his toes to the fire anyway.

Remember, these buggers are supposed to represent you, not rule over you. You might like to remind them of that every once in a while.

Quote from: Garraty_47 on May 28, 2024, 07:57:00 AMBernie, at the end of the day, proved to be little more than an agent of the democrat party and unwilling to expose their corruption even when it was maliciously aimed directly at him.
He actively endorsed it the moment he cucked to Hillary Clinton. Up til that point I was backing him for one reason only - his messaging on the subject of getting big money out of politics. A platform plank I was prepared to overlook pretty much all of his other shortcomings because of. But bending the knee to the Hillary campaign after all that went down in the 2016 primaries told me the doddering old fool lacked anything approaching a spine and effectively proved to me that he was not fit to run for any office.

This is socialism. Sell losers on the idea that it is the responsibility of everyone around you to take care of you simply because you breathe. Which is funny to me because these are the very same people pontificating about how we stole the land we live on now from Native Indians. Have any idea what the majority of Indian tribes did to people who did not carry their own weight?

these people are nothing but conman. No different from the rodents proclaiming a 200.00 gift to their shell corp of a false ministry will purchase you the mercy of the Almighty.

AOC, Bernie, The squad, This guy. All the same dog shit, just packaged a little differently

Quote from: Garraty_47 on May 28, 2024, 10:28:59 AMThe size of Bernie's rallies (especially in 2016) would beg to differ. Yes he consistently brought up a handful of issues but that's part of what made him appealing: his rhetorical consistency. It was only when his rhetoric was exposed as hollow and insincere that it lost much of its power to energize people.
Same with Trump, but I don't think he is a particularly gifted orator either.

Both of them appeal to voters who feel the duopoly(as you call it) has abandoned them.

West turned out to be too entitled and imperious; thinking it was everyone else's job to make it possible for him to simply stroll into the white house on name recognition alone while lashing out at anyone who dared question or make demands of him.

They do have similarities though... careerists who, no matter what rhetoric they spout, will never fundamentally change the systems that have benefited them for all these years.

I know who Cornel West, but I don't know a lot about him. I know he is prog and professor and that should be enough.
