Quote from: Brent on June 02, 2024, 11:36:30 AMAmerica is being invaded at the Southern border. The president's team are coming close to jailing his opponent in the middle of an election. There is a war on cheap affordable domestic energy.

I don't care about this gossip. Working class people are facing a lot more important problems as Biden turns the States into a banana republic.
^This.

Quote from: Brent on June 02, 2024, 12:25:40 PMIt is not a public matter. It is something for the Rittenhouse family to deal with themselves.
^Also this. But, you must surely understand the nature of the scalp that's being claimed here. Rittenhouse, like  Nick Sandman before him, was a private citizen before randomly being selected by the media as the poster-boy for how fundamentally evil MAGA supporters were. Every attempt was made to isolate, vilify and destroy the life of an adolescent for political purpose.

I agree... this OUGHT NOT BE THE CASE... but pragmatism and experience tells me that it is and that I must be on my guard against it. I have no idea of the character of the interviewers, nor what associations they might enjoy outside of their podcast. Don't know them from a piece of shark. They could very well be the next TYT in the making for all I know. They could be taking a second bite at the Kyle Rittenhouse cherry to destroy what the Media Machine failed to accomplish first time around for all I know.

He was made a public figure (without his explicit agreement) and here we are, allowing it to happen again. So yeah, I hear you.

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on June 02, 2024, 11:44:05 AMwhat would be the motive for such a complete 180?
Money. Mind buggeringly huge amounts of money.

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on June 02, 2024, 11:44:05 AMand they are referencing passages from his book which is available to anyone who wishes to purchase it.
Have you read it? Are you likely to? I'm willing to bet the answer to that question is the same as mine... namely "no". So in lieu of that, we're going to take someone else's word on the contents of said book and what we are supposed to think about them?

Look, I'm not stating emphatically that Kyle is as pure as the driven snow... I am also not prepared to say he is a complete cunt. I have no evidence to support either premise and while I am inclined to think the actual answer is between the two, I have no direct evidence to support that either.

I do have evidence to see what transpired in Kenosha, as well as video evidence of the media gunning for him all cannons blazing, politicians encouraging riots if a certain verdict was not reached, as well as a very convincing display of emotion from Kyle himself when he prevailed.

I also have the display of his sister grinning as she plunged the knife into his back without him there to defend himself.

You do you. I'll take my understanding of media manipulation (a good slice of it first hand experience) and do me.

But it does demonstrate clearly how far we have fallen as a society when a once shinning star could be seen acting in such a deplorable fashion.

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on June 02, 2024, 12:32:21 PMI would certainly agree

but who was it who threw the first stone. Kyle? Or his family?

If the book indeed has such passages in it then I would say Kyle.

In any event, a man with the means to prevent it, who can watch, without acting, the women in his family descend into squalor is no man at all.

At least not in my book he isn't

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on June 02, 2024, 11:44:05 AMI hear you loud and clear but I'm just a little hesitant to believe that the very same sister and mom that stood by him everyday during that travesty of justice those kangaroo herders on the left called a trial are now signing on to smear him

what would be the motive for such a complete 180?

and they are referencing passages from his book which is available to anyone who wishes to purchase it. And in it are details about the private lives of these three women and the neglect he allegedly suffered at the hands of his mom. How is any of that germane to the subject matter and reason one would buy the book in  the first place?

In my mind, THAT is the smear job, or at least the first punch in a series of regrettable smear jobs being lobbed by BOTH sides of this family tragedy.

But in the end, Kyle is the MAN and as MAN Is duty bound to take care of his family. ESPECIALLY when his family consists of three vulnerable women who stood by him through his ordeal. The three women who bore and continue to bare the lingering consequence of the spillover backlash we all know these libtarded fucktard vermin animals have no problem issuing to innocents.

As a true conservative patriot he needs to keep one important fact close to mind and heart. NOTHING is more important than family and there is NOTHING more the loser left hates more than the family unit. If there problems and factors here, he needs to be smart enough to realize they are being cultivated by the left and hold steadfast to the idea that his mom and his sisters come FIRST. Period.

there is no excuse for a MAN who has the means to allow his mother and sisters to fall into extreme poverty. None whatsoever.

Love those women from a far if their faults are that deep and disturbing but show the world what a conservative man truly is and TAKE CARE OF YOUR FAMILY.

And keep in mind. I have thought very highly of this kid. Supported him through and through. And remain in 100% support of his innocence

But THIS, if true, no matter the underlying motive, is a bridge too far for me.

Again, I can't judge either way. Money, fame, and envy does strange things to family units.

I've always said to the wife that if I won 100 million in the lottery, I'd try to disperse it quietly to kin and townies best I could.

But I also wouldn't tell her I had won the lottery nor buy anything outside of our budget...

Same same...

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on June 01, 2024, 07:39:46 PMYour mom and your sisters were in that courtroom every fucking day. And you leave them behind when you kick off?

oh man, if this is all true - you're a real piece of shit bro.

I bet the Mom & the daughter/his sister will end up suing Kyle for defamation. They'll find a lawyer in your country who is more than willing to take up the case because of the financial gain for them. In turn they'll offer to pay the Mom/sister's legal bills if they can take half of the settlement. And then that'll probably force Kyle to settle out of court for an undisclosed sum & that's how Kyle's next of kin will get their money.

Mind you, his relationship with his family was rather tenuous, not terribly close to begin with. Like - he hardly talked to his real Dad & he came from a broken family. So him getting into trouble had a bit to do with that.

You can be cynical AND correct at the same time. She's making allegations that are going unchallenged, grinning and smiling as she does. That is a "tell" for me, so I can understand the reservations you have.

Quote from: R on June 02, 2024, 12:42:26 AMThink what you like, I'm a little suspicious of the testimony of a sibling that is so emotionally invested in the situation that she both (a) reads from prepared statements in response to questions I am expected to believe were made on the fly and (b) smiles and grins over what I might expect were heartbreaking circumstances.

Something's not adding up here and I am loath to rush to a quick judgement, particularly after knowing how hard some people were working to destroy Kyle Rittenhouse before, during and after his day in court.

He could be a complete and total turd. Then again, so could his sister. From the video I just watched, I get the impression of 99% preparation and 1% inspiration, and that's a pretty lopsided ratio for when you are talking about something close to your heart.
