Pretty much bang on the money Oerdin, though I'd imagine there's also large component of that number who are not mentally ill as much as they are misinformed and given that they are minors in the first place, not in a position to spot the lies being fed to them. Brainwashed into a path they are ultimately unable to walk back later.

If I were raising kids in today's day and age, I would be homeschooling them as Dove does. And I would be breaking my back to ensure they had a much fuller understanding of the world about them than the bare minimum they need to pass the meagre educational requirements the state demands. It's not an ideal method of getting them ready for the real world, just the best of options I can see in the current social climate.

I am very distrustful of today's educational system and accordingly quite reluctant to risk exposing children to Cultural Marxism and its attendant Wokel garbage, at least until they are sufficiently educated enough to understand the dangers it poses and the need to guard against it.
