You're still wrong, hey harper?

Quote from: DKG on July 04, 2024, 10:24:59 AMPierre Pollivere said Justin Trudeau's hate speech law is any speech Trudeau hates, and he is correct.

The Dems and the Liberals are two peas in the same authoritarian pod.

They litteraly wish to turn the court into a mock up prop. A paper tiger. Nothing more.

Don't like a supreme court decision? Impeach them

Want them removed from office? MeeToo them.

Don't like a presidential action? Find a way to connect said action with a crime and convict them in an area of the country you know they are hated.

Why even bother having a system of government with such a circularly counterproductive ideology in play?

Of course, the mooks on the otherside are simply too cognitively deficient to see that. Or perhaps they feel that once they have amassed and consolidated enough power it will magically end and we will experience the great Utopia without the existence of anyone to challenge our beliefs.

Yeah, like we haven't seen them grow hungry in the absence of an enemy and begin to feed on their own.

these people are a threat to civilization. Not just democracy.

Quote from: JOE on July 04, 2024, 02:41:03 AMBut 5 police officers died in that Capitol hill riot.

A paper trail of emails is one thing and so is hush money to pay off a prostitute, but when police officers who were injured or die in the line of duty you can't hide that.

I haven't heard one advocate of January 6 or Trump offer condolences apologies or financial compensation to the families of those officers. Many of them were Republicans too.

And there is no comparison between other presidents because this was a domestic incident where police officers upholding the law died or were severely injured and threatened

Saying Trump wasnt at fault is the equivalent of saying a guy who organizes a block party that ends in the guests destroying a neighborhood isn't at fault and shouldn't be held responsible. Of course he is.

Like Harry Truman once said when a man is President of the USA "The buck stops here." That is the President takes responsibility for his actions and they affect others good or bad

Letting Trump off Scott free like that was a travesty of Justice.

That's just a straight-up lie.
A huge, blatant, ridiculous lie.

Which begs the question-
What else are you telling lies about?
Or rather... is there anything you *won't* lie about?

Apparently not.

I wonder where the outrage is over the recent conditions of Julian Assange's release... namely the requirement that he destroy all the evidence of Hillary Clinton's emails. You remember them... those classified state department communiques she kept on a server in her bathroom that was determined in the end to be a crime that the courts could never prosecute her for... now presumably deleted at the behest of her buddies who will similarly go unpunished for their part in the crime of obstruction of justice and evidence tampering.

Or the outrage over the improper storage of classified documents in a Vice President's garage, similarly not contemplated by the courts (not unlike the outstanding rape allegations against him)  even though they went hell bent for leather on a president who not only enjoyed the declassification powers the VP did not, but also thought to store them in a more secure location under lock and key as recommended to him by the same government agency who would later raid his ass.

Or for that matter the innumerable unprosecuted cases against America's first gay president for constitutional breaches that included warrantless spying on US citizens, not to mention the expansion of war crimes against foreign nationals in a detention center he swore up and down on the campaign trail that he would close.

Or that crossdressing fag who, in between his flights to Rape Island and bombing civilians in the Middle East, successfully managed to distract the courts from his crimes with legendary and riveting drama of unlicensed weenie moistening with oval office interns and sax solos that, quite honestly, ought to have been against the Geneva Convention.

Or the father/son presidential duo who lied the world into two games of Gulf that put enough "climate change"" into the atmosphere to really give your average greenie something to chimp out about. Funny, I don't remember them getting their day in court.

No. I'm supposed to ignore the examples of differential enforcement and go all jazz-hands over it somehow being Trump that's guilty of selling the justice system up Shit Creek.

Joe... you're a fuckwit. Sit down, shut your hole and don't bother opening it again until Thiel is there to jam his cock in it.

Quote from: JOE on July 03, 2024, 05:37:46 PMI'd have to agree with that assessment avatar_Biggie Smiles Bigly.

Your USSC is extreme & they're playing favorites to prevent Trump from being prosecuted. A favor I suppose for him appointing them.

But in the process, this Court is selling your Rule of Law down the drain. They've created this 'Fox Guarding the Henhouse' situation where the President is above the law. Given what they ruled, Richard Nixon ought to be totally enoxerated as if Watergate never happened.

Oh and before folk here nail me for being a Democrat sympathizer, I am not since I stated that Joe Biden should step down because of his mental decline. and I also indicated that the Democrats were protecting him.

Bottom line is that Courts shouldn't favor anyone.
and if they do like this court has, then they've stepped over the line and debased the Rule of Law.

No dipshi, no.

Quote from: Frood on July 03, 2024, 11:27:23 AMAs many have pointed out, conservatives are mostly worried about principles and liberals solely about winning at any cost.

bingo... which is why they make it difficult to take them seriously on any matter even when they happen to be close to being right. In such an instance I would counter that a broken clock is correct twice a day too.

they have demonstrated conclusively they are all about whatever it takes to make them win. Today they hate the electoral college because it does not consistently 100 out of 100 times produce the outcome they want.

But let Texas and florida become overrun with illegals given the ability to vote go solid blue no matter who and watch how fast they'll love the electoral college

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on July 03, 2024, 11:23:51 AMExactly

Myorkas is a perfect example of someone who needs to be impeached and since they are not even entertaining the possibility they need to shut the fuck up as they are nothing more than hypocrites trying to overturn decisions which are not in total alignment with their narrative.

Yep. Mayorkas is CLEARLY guilty of dereliction of duty! Moreover, since its at the direction of biden, BOTH should be impeached AND removed from office!
