The liberal media wasted a great deal of airtime and ink over the past decade fearmongering about the Russian collusion narrative but clammed up earlier this year when the Trump administration produced receipts demonstrating that the basis of multiple investigations and numerous arrests was nothing more than a hoax perpetrated on the American people by the Obama administration.

In the wake of revelations this week about Operation Arctic Frost — chiefly about the Biden FBI's surveillance of Republican lawmakers and indiscriminate targeting of conservatives — the liberal media has once again proven strategically incurious, evidencing the unidirectional nature of their outrage.

The New York Times, for instance, has concern-mongered in recent weeks about personnel changes at the Justice Department and the Trump administration's alleged use of "the federal government's vast intelligence gathering and law enforcement authority to cast the specter of criminality on Mr. Trump's enemies."

However, with the apparent exception of an Oct. 7 article focusing on Republican denunciations of special counsel Jack Smith's covert collection of lawmakers' phone records and an Oct. 21 article boosting denials issued on Smith's behalf by his lawyers, the Times has avoided troubling itself with questions about Arctic Frost or the latest documents highlighting the Biden FBI's targeting of conservatives.

Host Margaret Brennan forced Jeffries to answer a question about the hypocritical framing of rigged elections and redistricting in the midterm elections. Many believed Brennan had been ordered to be tougher on Democrats in the wake of Free Press founder Bari Weiss being hired to lead CBS News.

"You said, 'Democrats, there are no election deniers on our side of the aisle,'" Brennan said Sunday.

"You said that back in January. But recently, you've been using the term 'rigged elections' in reference to the upcoming midterms," she added. "Democrats were appalled when President Trump used language like that. How do you justify using that now? Doesn't that undermine faith for voters you need to show up?"

Quote from: DKG on October 29, 2025, 09:52:34 AMWith only a week left before the election in the contentious New York City mayoral race, socialist Zohran Mamdani is facing criticism for a photo with a Ugandan lawmaker who supported legislation restricting LGBTQ behavior.

The criticism stems from his July visit to Uganda, where he was born. During his visit, he met with Rebecca Kadaga, a well-known Ugandan lawmaker who served as speaker of the Parliament of Uganda from 2011 to 2021. She has been the first deputy prime minister since 2021, according to the New York Post.

Uganda's Anti-Homosexuality Act of 2014 features a variety of punishments for homosexual behavior, including seven years in prison for a variety of acts. A more recent expansion on the law includes the death penalty.

"Ugandans want that law as a Christmas gift. They have asked for it, and we'll give them that gift," Kadaga told Reuters in 2012, prior to the passage of the Anti-Homosexuality Act.

However, Mamdani has strongly advocated for LGBTQ issues.

Its all about pandering for power.

Bari Weiss left the New York Times because of the libtard groupthink because she felt it was Orwellian.  CBS knew exactly who they were hiring and its about time that one of the big three networks starts moving to the center.

In Canada Justine spent $5 million of our money making Rideau Cottage to the little prick's liking. And progs in this country said nothing.

https://www.westernstandard.news/news/taxpayers-on-the-hook-for-millions-in-trudeau-mansion-renovations/62850
Canadian taxpayers have been footing a multimillion-dollar bill for renovations at Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's residence, Rideau Cottage, over the past several years, newly released records reveal.

According to access-to-information documents obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF), more than $5 million has been spent on renovations to Rideau Cottage between 2016-17 and 2023-24.

"While there were multimillion-dollar renos being done to Trudeau's mansion, housing prices have doubled for most ordinary working Canadians," said Kris Sims, CTF Alberta Director.

"Trudeau needs to explain why this cost taxpayers so much."

In the last year alone, taxpayers covered $1.3 million in renovation costs for Rideau Cottage — an amount that could cover the annual grocery bills of 81 Canadian families, according to Canada's Food Price Report.

On average, the government has spent $630,000 per year on upgrades to the two-storey, 22-room mansion since Trudeau took office in 2015.

Renovation projects have included improvements to the tennis court and "powder room," extensive painting, RCMP security enhancements, new appliances, wall and roof repairs, paving and landscaping services, and tree stump removal.

Records also show taxpayers have been charged for 10 piano tunings at Rideau Cottage.

Does the prime minister's powder room have a gold toilet? How can these upgrades cost this much?" Sims said. "Taxpayers don't expect Trudeau to sleep in a tent, but racking-up reno bills costing Canadians more than half a million dollars per year is excessive."

The expenses at Rideau Cottage are not the only taxpayer-funded renovations linked to the prime minister's residences.

In 2022, the CTF reported that the National Capital Commission (NCC), which manages Canada's six official residences, was spending $11 million on renovations at Harrington Lake, Trudeau's lakeside retreat.

That amount included $2.5 million for a new backup cottage on the property and more than $700,000 for a kitchen renovation. Between 2016-17 and 2019-20, the federal government also spent $6 million on additional work at Harrington Lake.

Snope of all sites debunked a prog lie taxpayer money is paying for a ballroom at the White House.

https://www.snopes.com/news/2025/08/01/trump-gold-ballroom-white-house/
In late July and early August 2025, a claim (archived) circulated online that U.S. President Donald Trump would build a $200 million golden ballroom at the White House paid for by himself and private donors.

The X account Libs of TikTok shared this claim along with an illustration of the alleged room, captioned "BREAKING: Trump is building a 90,000 square foot White House ballroom and it's being funded mainly by Trump himself!"

The news — widely reported in national and international media — also circulated on Facebook (archived), Instagram (archived), Threads (archived), Reddit (archived) and Bluesky (archived), where some posters claimed the Trump administration would actually use taxpayer money to fund the construction of the ballroom.

However, we found no credible evidence that the Trump administration's proposed $200 million ballroom would be paid for using taxpayers' money.

Rather, both Trump and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump and private donors would pay for the project. The Rapid Response 47 X account, an official account of the Trump administration, wrote (archived) in a July 31 post that the project would be "fully funded by President Trump and other private donors — not taxpayers."
