Quote from: Dove on Today at 09:22:58 AMUniversities have become nests of political activists brainwashing our kids and convincing them it's education.

I honestly view Generation Z as victims of mental and emotional abuse. A lot of those kids and young adults have been mentally molested by people they trusted to teach them. And they've been sucked in by gangs like antifa.

They really believe they are in the right. They passionately believe they are on the side of rescuing the country from "facists".

It's fucking sad and scary. They'll encourage these kids to cut contact with their families. Their parents. You know...all the people on their lives who truly love them and are invested in their well being.

For all my faults as a mother, and believe me, there are plenty...I never even had a mother, I was never going to even have children for that reason. What the fuck do I know about being a mother? I knew nothing.

But I can say I have managed to launch two young adults into this world who have a strong sense of self, who know they are going to mature and go through a lot of growth so they have a humility that I did NOT have at their age, and most of all? I have taught them to think critically about all things. To take that feel good idea they've been presented with and unpack it.

They understand a vote is a responsibility that should be take very seriously. To always consider unintended consequences.

I didn't raise them in a heavily religious household. But I did teach a lot of biblical principles and the value of faith in ways that are applied practically.  And it has STUCK so far.

I didn't know this when they were younger, I know this is common sense but I just didn't get it much at the time....but those girls watched me very closely. They both have excellent work ethics, they have no sense of entitlement, they have realistic expectations and strong moral convictions and they will hear others out. They will always make a strong effort to understand their opposition.

I didn't push these kids to vote republican. I just helped them navigate all the information flying at them.

I'm very proud that they got out there and voted. Thank God they both voted for Trump....but they came to that on their own. They both had a lot of pressure to vote Harris. They have friends whose parents berated them to vote Harris. Two of those friends felt sick over it because they admitted they have no idea what they even voted for. They just did what the parents wanted. I cannot imagine using my kids like that. That is their right and duty. I want them to know how to navigate politics and know how to make these decisions. It's gonna be their world soon.

My 19 year took it so seriously she actually puked after voting lol. She was so nervous. My oldest voted early and actually helped ME feel comfortable with early voting. I still oppose that. But I'm more comfortable with it.

My oldest is attending one of our states universities and she tells me about the wacky woke teachers and how they kiss her ass because she's half native and a lesbian. So she's like a wokeys wet dream.

She fucking hates it. She's had people ask her if she thinks she might be trans. She isn't full on butchy...but she tends to be more masculine than girly. She always was, too. She hated frills and dresses and she never wears make up. She carries herself in a more masculine manner.

Not only is she NOT trans...but she absolutely opposes the trans activism and every single gay/lesbian person should be in strong opposition. We all should.

Bravo.  You deserve nothing but honor.

They seem to like congregating in universities I've noticed. Apparently so has Trump and he has correctly decided to draw down their funding. I don't imagine he would be unwilling to roll that decision back if those institutions started employing the services of professors and admin that weren't homosexual left wing commies and kiddie diddling female impersonators, but we'll have to wait for that to happen first.

Well there you go.

Left Wing woke types wanted Conservatives like Ben Shapiro, Joe Rogan & Jordan Peterson banned from merely give a speech on American campuses. And now Trump wants to shut a bunch of those universities down. So ya go from one extreme to the other avatar_Dove Dove.

Like cant these warring sides listen to each other rather than pulling out the muzzle?!

I don't like these Woke types any more than the Far Right.

Hasn't this Left Wing/Right Wing paradigm gone offa da rails & gotten just plain silly avatar_Dove Dove?!?

People fighting over their party stripe/affiliation never stopping for a minute to listen to one another. And then refusing to read/hear the other person's pov.

Same time I don't live in the States & I imagine the social situation is a lot more polarized in the US compared with Canada.

How it got that way seems unbelievable how the USA went from a prosperous stable democracy to this:

I hear you. The vast majority of friends I've had are all Trump supporters.

My man and I just had this convo. How glad we are that we are both sane lol.

you can be a fake christian like your modern catholic or some other corny denomination that is into idol worship and lacks the integrity to take a stand against evil in all of it's forms

but you cannot be a true Christian and you cannot truly love the God of Abraham, The true ruler of the universe

"male and female he created them"

and these monsters are spiting in his face

Not me. I do not deserve the right to be called a true christian as I am but a sinful man but at least I can say I know what a true christian looks like. and I ain't seen a modern leftist yet who resembles one.

They are full of shit. Non-binary cat-kin fuckers need to accept that human rights are non-trans-furrable. And if were of school age today, I'd be mixing cayenne pepper in with their kitty litter to prove that point.
