More skilled immigrants are leaving your country than immigrating to it. Canada's biggest province, Ontario is poorer than Mississipi. Millions of Canadians would go hungry without food banks. Home ownership is becoming a thing of the past. All of which explains why Canada can no longer attract highly skilled immigrants like prosperous countries like the US or Singapore does.

Your country took in 774,000 immigrants last year most of which were low skilled third world types coming in as refugees or family reunification. The new US administration on the other hand has prioritized highly skilled immigrants and unlike your third world wannabe country, they have the opportunities to attract them and keep them.
