A neo-conservative running the US...maybe Alberta and Saskatchewan might me more inclined to jump ship, but even then... I doubt it. Canadians are too used to being "polite" and "reasonable" in the face of being treated like pieces of shit, they are a lot like the helpless and gullible victims that make up the majority of Australia, but with more social graces and a more complete winter wardrobe.

I don't think so @King Raho . Thus far Canada has put up a fight & refused to give into Trump's demands.

But it's Australia which has been the docile one seeming to cave in to Trump. Actually it was an American Democratic senator who angrily put up a fight on Australia's behalf as he grilled a Representative of the Trump administration why tariffs were even considered for Australia to begin with.

I don't think any Australian politicians have been nearly as vocal.

Who sold you that line of horsefly riddled beagle shit, Doctor Fauci?? The whole reason the nuts hang out of the body is because sperm needs a cooler climate than body temperature to produce it. Otherwise we'd have evolved to store our balls in much the same place as women store their ovaries, instead of having to back up against the wall and snarl like dogs when they try to keep our family jewels in their handbags.

Ahh, but you said testosterone... well, the ovaries of a woman produce that shit too, just not in anywhere near the amounts that guys do. Guess where guys produce theirs (and in far greater quantities as a result)? I'll give you a hint... let your arm swing loose and grab the first thing it passes. Don't grab it for too long though, they need to swing to do their thing. Besides, I've heard you might go blind. I'm gonna guess you probably like to cover that shit up before you go out in public too... like most normal people. Making for a darker existence for them. The nuts I mean.

In fact, look at it from another angle (and I wish I didn't have to)... you know those crazy lefties that run about stark naked in the streets? With their weiners flapping about in the sun while their shriveled gonads ride shotgun? Shit, I'm sure Eddie or Semenmajor will be happy to oblige you if you haven't. Do those assclowns even look like they know testosterone if they fell over it? No, of course they do not; they are manlets and living proof that whatever God intended, it wasn't anything to do about reproduction... evolutionary dead ends that deserve their dangly bits be fried into worthlessness by the sun's rays.

Now there's some scientific observation you can trust!

and as an observation I have noticed that your warmer climates to the south tend to have more conservatives whereas the further north you go the more likely it is you will be surrounded by limp wristed sissy faggots like Admin.

So it does not surprise me, that with about 6 or 7 real men in the entire country. 85% of whom post here. Canada would continue to vote in crazed progressive sissy faggot lunatics

But like avatar_Reggie Essent said, I too could give the slightest fuck what Canada does

Quote from: Shen Li on April 29, 2025, 09:33:30 PMIt all depends on if and what the US administration does. If they make Alberta and possibly Saskatchewan a good offer expect a large number of Calgarians and Edmontonians to vote yes in a ballot question that Premier Smith just made a lot easier to get to a referendum.
In other words, Alberta and Saskatchewan for all their talk of separatism are in fact waiting for Donald Trump to make them an offer. One might expect that a tough talking premier might be a little more... I dunno... pro-active in the affair, rather than talking a tough game, then sitting on his hands and waiting for the telephone to ring.

You are aware I take it that on paper at least Saskatchewan and Alberta are perfectly capable of secessionism without the sponsorship of the US, right? Crimea managed to exit Ukraine's dominance in 2014 and were an independent nation in its own right. Only for 24 hours mind you, but the proof of concept is there. You're telling me that Alberta and Saskatchewan can do no less?

I'm sure there will be excuses as to why they shouldn't, both from the left and from the right. And this brings me back to my original point that whatever Joe Public wants, it is your premier and cabinet doing little more than saber rattling, pointing fingers outward while doing little to nothing at all about effecting a change. Because a referendum to get the fuck out from under Ottawa's boot takes but a swipe of the pen to get it started and nobody at the provincial level is doing it.

Like I said earlier, I would be delighted to be proven wrong here. But to my way of thinking it is not even going to get as far as Quebec's did before it too failed.

Effectively, Alberta and the province with the chuggy name had had their bluff called. Like the Conman, I seriously doubt it will go any further.

Full disclosure; I would be utterly delighted to be proven wrong here, I just don't see it happening. A neo-conservative running the US...maybe Alberta and Saskatchewan might me more inclined to jump ship, but even then... I doubt it. Speaking of, I heard Australia was having a federal erection snausagefest this weekend. I fully expect the electorate to shuffle off to the ballot boxes and vote for a carefully curated band of reprobates that will be only too happy to sell them off to the highest bidder for another four years.

Real democracy cannot occur without quarterly performance reviews of a nation's representatives and the summary dismissal of anyone found to be members of the grifter class. Australia is a largely disarmed population (you cannot legally buy even a bulletproof vest there) so successive governments can and have behaved in ways that would make your average South African dictator blush.

The Conservative premiers Smith, Moe & Ford have done an admirable job & put up a brave face in the time of national crisis. I suppose the same can be said of Poilievre.

I like to think we're all on the same side - Team Canada.

Even if Carney wins he has to work with those Conservative premiers who happen to represent the most powerful provinces in the nation - to get anything done.

The next Prime Minister has to be a Uniter not a Divider
Sugar Buns, Carney is a divider. He is keeping Trudeau's divisive legislation and two premiers have already drawn a line in the sand.

I suppose Carney is gonna build closer ties with Europe eh?

Not sure how America will fare in another 4 years, Prof.

At this point the political & economic situation looks shaky in the US. Mind you, it looks that way in most countries too.
Sweetie, I explained to you after we had sex this morning that your Carney will keep Trudeau's laws that prevent new pipelines or new oil development. Bills C-49 and C-69, the emissions cap and the Impact Assessment.

Your country will be just as dependent on the US market. Go Liberals eh Jo Jo.
