Actually the Canadian $ keeps climbing in value Shen. Higher now than it has been in years.Its around  74 cents US. At this rate the C$ will probably be at least .80+ by the time the current Republican administration's term ends in 2028/29.

Look for Gold to be North of $6000. Maybe even $7-9000+.

Singapore is a major oil and gas hub. The big investors are not even considering Canada. The US is a lot more stable place to invest.

But Poilievre said he sensed uncertainty from the Germans when asked if they believe Canada can build additional facilities to export larger quantities of its natural gas faster.

"They didn't say it clearly, but I think they're in a 'we'll see it to believe it' mode," said Poilievre, who is on his first foreign mission since becoming Conservative leader in 2022, with stops in London, Berlin and Hamburg.

The only Canadian LNG export terminal is in Kitimat, B.C. There have been proposals to build such infrastructure in Eastern Canada, but none have gone forward.

Germany and many other European countries urgently sought to shift away from purchasing LNG from Russia after it launched its invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

I read a new poll that shows Mark Carney and the Liberals would win a massive majority if a Canadian election were held today. I'm talking well over 200 seats.

How can a party with an atrocious record of declining living standards, collapsing health care, soaring violent crime rates, record poverty and homelessness, unsustainable immigration, a growing brain drain, fleeing investment, record deficits and debt, rising tax burden, the anti freedom C-bills, the slowest growth rate of developed nations and the highest inflation rate can even be considered by voters.

The party hasn't changed. The same Trudeau cabinet ministers are still in charge. The same top advisor to Trudeau is now PM. He promised to end inter-provincial trade barriers by July 1, 2025 and they are still firmly in place. He promised to get a new trade deal with the US and he hasn't even tried so far.

All Canadians have to show for Carney's year in office besides the anti-liberty C-bills are Chinese ev's flooding Canada and giving $100 million to Indian students.

Something like 3/4 of old white Canadians will vote for Carney because he talks tough about Trump but delivers nothing for Canadians. Fuck, I'm glad I got out of Canada before it looks like Venezuela under Maduro.
