More very grim economic news for Canada. The nation's unemployment rate has reached its worse figure in 9 years(excepting the Covid Pandemic) at 7.1 percent and the loss of 66 000 jobs.

Compare Canada's unemployment rate with the US rate of 4.3 percent....great...just great.

And the youth unemployment is near  15 percent.

Consider this also, this is from the summer months where traditionally economies are performing stronger. I shudder to think what will happen when Canada's harsh winter approaches?

And then you look at all the investment Canada is losing to America because of the Liberal's government's radical green policies, record deficits and heavy taxes. Why at this rate, Canada will be a second world nation in no time. This is what you get for voting Liberal.

Canadians don't want electric vehicles, but Carney wants to force them on us.

The crown wants an 8 year sentence for James Bauder for organizing a  peaceful protest against the Liberal regime in Ottawa. Violent criminals are routinely given a slap on the wrist but if you defy the Liberals authoritarianism, UR a terrorist.

QuoteFreedom Convoy trucker facing charges seeks asylum in U.S.

James Bauder, part of the 2022 Freedom Convoy, is facing multiple criminal charges, including mischief, obstruction, and counselling others to commit indictable offences. He maintains that these charges are politically motivated and part of a broader effort to suppress dissenting voices in Canada.

James is also seeking asylum in the United States. Today there will be a hearing to determine whether he can be forced to return to Canada while his asylum claim is pending — undermining his asylum claim.

This wanker is one of Conman Carney's close WEF and Davos chums.

Just 24 hours after BlackRock's Larry Fink seized WEF co-chair role, a radical plan emerges to BAN private cars and ERASE single-family homes. Rooted in WEF's 2016 car-free vision (90% vehicle cut), the 2030 "own nothing" prophecy, and 2022's goal to slash global cars from 2.1 billion to 0.5 billion, this agenda accelerates under Fink's trillion-dollar ESG influence. Why? Control—trapping you in 15-minute cities and surveilled high-rises. This is the Great Reset stripping your independence.

You set your sights too low. How about Nicaragua or Belarus instead?

Man, it must suck when your best examples are more authoritarian than some socialist shithole's. Don't worry though, I'm sure the Shit-Lite version of tyranny tastes better than the vast quantitudes of Total Suck that the generations of settling for second best left you with.

I mean you could fight for better, but then you might have an RFK Jr roaming the halls of Wellington Street, telling you what's healthy and what isn't. And we wouldn't want that, eh?

I do not hunt. I am not a firearms owner.

But, the Carney regime's gun buy back confiscation does nothing to stop the gun homicides in cities like Toronto where over ninety percent of firearms used are illegal.

Mark Carney is forging ahead with his expensive and ineffective gun ban and confiscation scheme.

Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree said that the government will start to take guns from individual firearms owners in September.

But this program has been a failure from the start. The government said it would cost taxpayers $200 million in 2019. Experts estimate the total cost to be closer to $6 billion.

Six billion dollars for a program that's a failure is a clear-cut example of government waste.

And it's a failure from every angle.

"The gun buyback program is going to have, essentially zero impact on the crime in Toronto," said Clayton Campbell, the president of the Toronto Police Association. "I can't think of a time when a legal gun has been used in a crime in this city."

The government's program only confiscates firearms from legal gun owners!

"Buyback programs are largely ineffective at reducing gun violence, in large part because the people who participate in such programs are not likely to use those guns to commit violence," said a University of Toronto professor, who studies gun violence.

Only Carney thinks this plan is a good idea. The experts and the police on the ground know it won't work. Taxpayers need to stand together to toss it in the trash before another cent is wasted.
