Now that there is wide spread celebrating and mocking of this, both of my daughters now plainly see exactly what ive been saying about the American left.
Dont get me wrong neither of them are left wing. They have some left wing opinions that come from youthful optimism and a genuine care for others....but they voted Trump and are more republican than anything. They are more republican than even they fully realize because even their left wing opinions give way to their republican sensibilties.
They were just far more sympathetic to the left than i was and they used to tell me "they are just Americans who have different opinions. Neither side seems to feel heard and understood"
Now? Omg. They are DONE being sympathetic and they now see what ive been saying about the American left. But i hate how they found out.
My daughter was legitimately traumatized by having that video sent to her like that and she is literally SCARED of her ex friends. She came into our bedroom last night, got in our bed and asked how fast could we get the gun if someone broke in.
