I try to avoid politics if at all possible in Canada.....political differences are taken very seriously here......too many people from one political side seem incapable of politely agreeing to disagree.

I left the left wing New Democratic Party when they threw the working class under the bus. A hell of a lot of blue collar workers have ripped up their party memberships. They hate us now.

Most East Asian-Americans vote Democrat. I attribute that to the majority of East Asians living in Democratic strongholds like California, Massachussettes, NY and NJ. I believe that could change though as Affirmative Action in uni admissions is deeply unpopular among Asian-Americans.

In Canada, East Asians, Chinese in particular are more likely to vote Conservative. Taxes and crime are big issues among East Asian-Canadians.
