Quote from: Thiel on Today at 02:18:28 PMMy dear sweet naive Jo Jo. Laying off redundant federal civil service employees reduces pain by cutting spending and using the savings to eliminate debt interest payments that could be used for health care or an essential service. Most day to day services we rely on are provincial responsibility. Unless your boyfriend is worried his OAS will be clawed back by the heartless global lucifer Carney.
Unfortunately Mr. Carney will not reduce pain for average Canadians. He will not make the required cuts to the federal civil service. He is going to hire more unnecessary federal employees to administer his red ink filled second budget. There will be no balanced budget ever under the Liberals. They will inflict unbearable pain on the nation with bloated debt interest payments. Canada will continue it's slide among advanced nations.
Quote from: Shen Li on November 15, 2025, 10:57:26 PMPolivere had an excellent platform but it's not enough. My former country needs a more ambitious plan than that and that is if they began after the election in April.
Quote from: Herman on November 15, 2025, 08:19:31 PMCarney's budget is one of the worst cases of accounting fraud in Canadian history. His entire platform was built on fraud. He took advantage of collective TDS among our seniors to deceive an entire nation. We even overlooked the fact that his investments should have precluded him from being the leader of any nation.
Quote from: Herman on November 15, 2025, 08:19:31 PMCarney's budget is one of the worst cases of accounting fraud in Canadian history.Carney's Liberals have done so much to destroy the Canadian dream. And the scary thing is they are from done.

Quote from: JOE on November 14, 2025, 07:19:03 AMA view that Canada's Budget falls short:Sweetie, Brent and DKG don't read your posts.
Guy seems to support the Conservative Party narrative
So...this may interest ya'll who aren't onside with the Liberals & te Carney government such as
I'm somewhat neutral either way - on the fence, eh? Not sure
Have ta see how things unfold whether Carney's spending plans will work or not.
However without a doubt We are headed for more debt, which is concerning. More money printing ultimately means the currency will be worth less, will buy less in the future.
So...if these forecasts are correct, then invest accordingly.

Quote from: JOE on November 10, 2025, 01:49:02 AMIn which case, Trump is also doing as are the major economies of the world DKGDKG does not know you still post here.DKG.
Like this man points out what is happening in the USA is happening in the rest of the world, Canada included:
These economies are headed for a debt tsunami of higher interest rates just like we had in the 1970s & then 20% inflation DKGDKG!
When so many people & governments are awash in a sea of debt there can only be an economic implosion & or a financial reset.
Quote from: DKG on October 28, 2025, 09:49:46 AMCarney is splitting the budget into operating and capital spending in hopes that you won't notice the debt.
The Liberals are wasting $1.3 billion every week paying interest on the debt.
This accounting nonsense is all about hiding his unnecessary deficits and debt.
