Quote from: JOE on December 01, 2025, 11:25:40 AMAnd yet having a trade or a high grade profession is no absolute guarantee of anything Oliver the SecondPussycat, remember what I told you after you performed oral sex on me this morning about not sticking to the thread topic?.
I've known people who were flying high, well qualified professionals and tradesmen who lost everything.
I think skills should teach kids is how to invest, save money & start a business.
Maybe even give new high school graduates a thousand dollars for a starter investment fund if they complete some courses so they do it right.
Sure a trade can advance a person in life but what young people need to learn is self employment & self reliance/sufficiency.
Government should encourage people to start their own businesses, no matter how small. Even just side hustles that make a few thousand a year.
Just a small amount can make the difference between having a roof over their heads and becoming homeless.
