Of course he's joking. They ALL are. It's one big troll. No one is stupid enough to believe something like that to be true.

Quote from: Biggie Smiles on December 10, 2025, 03:33:18 PMthat pales in comparison though to the resources which must be poured into keep something like the lie of a spherical earth going for nearly 100 years now.

that simple fact alone is a enough evidence to dissuade any normal minded person from investing so much as 5 seconds of brain time into such a ridiculous fallacy.

Quote from: wizer on December 09, 2025, 10:13:55 AMWhen it comes to disputing the moon landings, "good theory" is an oxymoron, which is fitting given that those who dispute it are morons.

Was the video technology of the time sufficiently developed/advanced at the time to broadcast video from the moon in real time?

There wasn't any digital and it was all analog.

Maybe the footage was faked because they wanted to have something to show the world.

By the way I was alive in 1969 to witness the moon landing. It was Big News. America was at War in Vietnam. They badly needed some feel good story to boost National morale which was otherwise low at the time.

Logs from amateur astronomers indicate a spaceship circling the moon & in probability landing. These were not anyone working for NASA or the US government but international observers.

I looked around on owl gores inferwebz for evidence of the moon landings. Seems there is quite a bit of non USA evidence of the moon landings. The stuff by private individuals is of poor quality because of land based telescopes but there's been moon orbiters that have photographed the various sites. I actually learned that we landed on the moon more times than I thought!

Here's the Wiki with a high level overview. From there, you can find videos discussing this evidence.

He did a stellar job supporting his opinions. He was the clear winner. And I gained a new respect for his debating skills.

But on these topics it really doesn't matter if somebody can defend their position. Try getting someone in Northern Ontario who has to choose between heating their home and fuelling their car because of insance Liberal Party climate madness to think about to spend ten seconds thinking about if the earth is round or flat. Good luck with that.

I mean seriously, I try to be cordial because I like skinz and he's a fellow conservative but c'mon. There is such an overwhelming array of evidence to the contrary it's just baffling to me how anyone could even suggest such an absurdity
