Both Biden and Obama did send their condolences to Erika and her children.

There seems to be a lack of compassion either way people can't drop the party line chit.

Basically put - the US should legalize low skilled migrant workers with non immigrant visas but eliminate citizenship by birthright.

Other words, tell them - come & work, make money & pay taxes - but they can never be eligible for social benefits, permanent residency or citizenship. Many countries such as the uae have that kind of arrangement

This is already the existing arrangement for many temporary visa workers un the USA.

Government takes 35% withholding tax right off the top in  exchange for the privilege of working there. That way, the us guv always gets their take/tax money.
