Kamala Harris spent years fearmongering about so-called climate change. Her recent seaside acquisition suggests she may not have been as serious about the supposed threat as she previously let on.

During her first failed presidential campaign where she proposed the U.S. blow $10 trillion on tackling the professed problem, Harris wrote, "Our oceans are warming. Sea levels are rising. Pollution is threatening our air and water. Droughts are hurting our crops. Fires are burning our forests. Extreme weather is destroying our communities. We are poisoning the planet."

Harris previously pushed legislation that would annually award $50 million in grants to various entities for the purposes of "carrying out climate-resilient living shoreline projects" and, in her words, "mitigat[ing] against sea level rise."

When announcing in 2023 that the Biden-Harris administration was recommending $562 million in funding to make communities and the economy more resilient to the alleged climate change, Harris told a crowd at the University of Miami, "To live in a coastal community is to live on the front lines of the climate crisis."

The Washington Free Beacon highlighted that the Biden-Harris administration also pushed a study the same year that claimed that "24%-75% of California's beaches may become completely eroded" due to sea-level rises.

Despite Harris' participation in the rising-sea hysteria that proved fellow Democrat Al Gore a poor prognosticator, she has reportedly purchased an $8.15 million oceanside mansion in Malibu, California.

Back then, the left cheered.
The media applauded.
No outrage. No hysteria.
Now suddenly, Tom Homan is the villain.
Nothing changed.
Not the law.
Not the job.
Not the mission.
Only the politics changed.
Obama was perfectly fine with Tom Homan enforcing the law when it benefited him.
Now he pretends that same enforcement is unacceptable.
That's hypocrisy — and Obama is full of it.

n 2017, an Australian-American yoga teacher named Justine Damond called the police because she heard strange noises in the alley behind her house and thought someone was being hurt.

When she called 911, police officers showed up to her house.

One of their names was Mohamed Noor, and he was an immigrant from Somalia. While she was talking to the other police officers, Noor shot through the driver's open window at Damond and hit her in the chest, killing her immediately.

He was sentenced to only 12 years in prison.

"Now you might not have ever heard that story because there were no riots. There were no protests. Nothing burned down. There was no shouts and insistence upon saying her name or rest in power. Your favorite social justice activist, your racially conscious pastor, didn't post anything about her.

And in fact, in 2021, the Minnesota Supreme Court overturned Noor's murder conviction due to insufficient evidence, sending the case back to the district court where he would be sentenced instead for the manslaughter conviction.

Noor testified that the loud noises made him fear for his life, and that's why he shot her.

Now I want you to ask yourself, if this had been an ICE agent who killed a liberal woman, or if this had been a white police officer who killed a black man Minneapolis would have burned.

So he was spooked. He wasn't approached with a vehicle. This woman wasn't armed. She came outside in her pajamas.

If it weren't for double standards, progs would have no standards at all.
