My wife and I are able to weather Canada's plunge into poverty. I had a good job when times were good. Now I am retired with a pension ten times what broke Joe gets for Olad Age Security. My wife is a nurse.

I feel bad for people who did not get to set aside a nest egg. They will not be able to do that anymore. The Canadian dream is over.

Quote from: DKG on Today at 10:04:49 AMCanada's economy is on life support, the nation is in a clear recession watch, and the Bank of Canada needs to cut interest rates further, says an economist.

A new report from Rosenberg Research, Canadian Economy on Life Support, shows that despite interest rate cuts from a high of five per cent in 2024, per capita GDP is still falling, and the economy is growing at only one per cent annually.

The report states that the economy is expected to shrink in the fourth quarter, falling by an annualized 0.5 per cent quarter-over-quarter. This is lower than the Bank of Canada's forecast of 0.0 per cent.

Because the economy has contracted in two of the last three quarters, it is officially on recession watch for 2026, the report says.

We are entering our eleventh year of the Liberals' managed decline. We must reverse course very soon or we will no longer be a desirable country to live in. But, that will not happen with agenda driven globalists like Mark Carney in charge.
I am just getting warmed up. By the time I leave Canada all 42 million of you will be living in igloos on the street and eating dinner from dumpsters.
