No.  They'll always be the Chicago Bears.  The Indiana site is literally a 20 minute drive from Soldier Field where they play now.  The other suburban site, which I think is better, is a whole lot easier for the fan base to get to.

Traffic in greater Chicago sucks really, really bad.

That would be the preferred destination, but if they wind up in Hammond, Pritzker and the rest of those fuckers will suffer huge in the election.

The situation so far is that Indiana's legislature passed a bill allowing for the creation of a stadium authority that will get the financing and land for a domed stadium in Hammond.  The Bears responded very positively to the move and Illinois is on the hot seat to make a counter move.  The tension mounts.
