Quote from: Biggie Smiles on Today at 09:00:27 AMFor starters, by 2035 at the latest these technologies will either destroy life as we know it or make it so unrecognizable for the vast majority of us that it might as well be destroyed. This is an unavoidable fact.Biggie I don't have grandchildren or have one on the way yet like you and Reggie Essent do.....but I wonder what kind of future babies born this year will have in 2050.....will it be better than my life....I hope so but I am not too optimistic.
I am deep in the industry where these technologies are born and raised and can tell you with first hand certainty the drivers behind these technologies (the world wide elite class) will use them as a tool to rid the world of the rest of us. It should be no secret to any of you that to them we are a burden to the planet and an impediment to the continuation of their blood lines.
they're really not even being secretive about it anymore.
Do you think for one second society will end because AI becomes self aware and suddenly pushes a button? That's just naive and probably suggests you should put down the terminator movies for good.
No no.. our own greed and mental and physical laziness which social media has been designed to fuel will have us fighting each other to the death for scraps and morsels LONG before AI wipes us off the map.
Elon Musk said it best himself
Elon Musk predicts that within 10 to 20 years, advancements in AI and robotics will make traditional employment optional, leading to a future where "universal high income" supports people. He suggests that work will become a hobby or a choice, similar to cultivating a personal garden, as robots handle most labor.
Universal high income with nothing to barter for 8 billion people in various stages of technological advancement? Seriously? C'mon... this guy is far too smart to be saying shit like this as he well knows there is a hairline between THIS environment and socialism. And we all know he's staunchly against socialism.. but he just happens to be for an outcome which flies in the face of Capitalism and a system of value through trade that has existed for thousands of years?
No no
what he means when he says there will be universal high income and people wont have to work is the timeframe AFTER us parasites are removed from the equation. The ELITES won't have to work and will have devices doing their bidding. NOT US.
