The same principle that the left is using to say that tariffs are a tax on everyday Americans is the exact same principle of how corporate taxes are just a tax on everyday Americans.

The difference is that tariffs help American corporations and American jobs. Taxes just drain Americans.

Democrats have been gerrymandering states and entire regions of the country for years now. Republicans have responded by redistricting their own red states just in an attempt to keep up. Now, with last week's SCOTUS ruling (Louisiana vs Callais) Democrats are finding out that identity politics is a double edged sword.

The ruling was pretty basic and common sense. It is unconstitutional to assign "race based" districts. See-Section 2 of the US Constitution. Democrats have made that a core pillar on which to build and hold power. This, btw, is one of the main reasons why our Southern Border was left wide open for four years under AutoPen's reign of error. Congressional districts are made up via population not through actual citizenship requirements. Flood the zone was/is their strategy.

Now many of these race based districts are being redrawn to align with the constitution. Imagine that.

So now Gavin Newsom is calling these red southern states "Confederate States" just to emotionally charge up his dwindling and none-too-bright base.

You see, to Democrats, it's all good until the other side tries it. Gavin's/Democrats  problem? Their entire party power structure is set up on a ginned up racial animus and victim/victimizer narrative. That has now come back to bite them squarely in the ass.

Are they liars? Yes. Are they race baiters/racists? Yes. Are they blatantly hypocritical? 
Oh God yes!
