The Prime Minister faces a vote of confidence in her leadership by fellow Tory MPs on Wednesday evening after 48 letters of no confidence were sent to the 1922 Committee. Mrs May is believed to attempt to win the confidence vote by promising her party to step down before the next general election.
BBC's Laura Kuenssberg tweeted: "Sounding like Prime Minister will tell MPs she won't fight the next election at 5pm - let her get Brexit done, and then get out of the way - let's see what she actually says later on.
unfortunately the next election is in 2022  Hopefully she will be gone before then.

He went from massive parliamentary majority to this.
Will this mean the end of mainstream parties? Conservatives and socialists have been unable to fix the French malaise.

What does this mean?
She will remain as prime minister until the next election if she passe her Brexit proposal?
What if it's voted down?

There will be confidence vote on her leadership at 4 pm Eastern time. If she loses, she will resign as prime minister and her Brexit plans are toast too.

I knew Macron's economic reforms were unpopular, but I didn't see this coming just a few months ago.
May survived, but not for long. Parliament will reject her Brexit idiocy and she will have no choice but to fall on her sword.

When will parliament vote on her Brexit plan? I know it has been delayed already.
When she chooses to introduce it.
But it has to happen before January 21 I think.
It's a mess.

David Cameron is thankful he doesn't have to deal with this.
Macron urges calm, Paris cops brace for more riots
PARIS — French President emanuel macron called Friday for calm as authorities prepared to deploy armoured vehicles and thousands of security forces for a possible fifth-straight weekend of violent protests on the streets of Paris.
the "yellow vest" movement, which began its demonstrations Nov. 17 initially to protest an increase in fuel taxes, soon morphed into an expression of rage about the high cost of living in France and a sense that macron's government is detached from the everyday struggles of workers.
"Our country needs calm. It needs order. It needs to function normally again," macron said in brussels, where he attended a european union summit.
If Macron's government collapses, the reverberations will be profound.
