I don't blame the current Danish government for laying out the welcome mat for an alien ideology. The Danes attempts to fix a mess are too little too late. But, unlike our regime in Ottawa they are saying no to unreasonable accommodations.

The only difference from here, is that children open their toys on Christmas morning.
And that your santa claus just comes through the chimney at night and puts the presents beneath the tree..
He does not meet the kids..
Our Santa comes to visit while the kids are awake and he gives the presents to the kids directly.
When I was young, my special German born Grandmother had us over for a dinner and gift opening on the Eve

Then in the morning, our own opening of gifts at our home - double Christmas

My paternal grandparents were from Germany. They knew how to celebrate the season.
