i just finished watching the entire video..

the Bible does not teach that the earth is flat. * The Bible is not a science textbook. At the same time, nothing in the Bible contradicts proved science. What the Bible says is "always reliable, now and forever."—Psalm 111:8.

What does the Bible mean by "the four corners of the earth"?

The expressions "the four corners of the earth" and "the ends of the earth" used in the Bible are not to be taken literally, as if the earth were square or had ends. (Isaiah 11:12; Job 37:3) Instead, these evidently are figures of speech referring to the entire surface of the earth. The Bible uses the four points of the compass in a similar way.—Luke 13:29.

The Hebrew term translated "corners" or "ends" seems to be an idiom based on the word for "wings." According to The International Standard Bible Encyclopedia, "because the wing of a bird is used as a covering for its young, [this Hebrew term] acquires the meaning of the extremity of anything stretched out." The same reference work adds that at Job 37:3 and Isaiah 11:12, "the term means the coasts, boundaries, or extremities of the land surface of the earth." *

A question for the biblical scholar lol, what about the firmament? And if God created the sun on the 4th day, what was the world revolving around if there was no sun or light?

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.

God does not need the sun, moon, and stars to provide light. God is light! First John 1:5 declares, "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in Him there is no darkness at all." God Himself was the light for the first three days of Creation, just as He will be in the new heavens and new earth, "There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever" (Revelation 22:5). Until He created the sun, moon, and stars, God miraculously provided light during the "day" and may have done so during the "night" as well (Genesis 1:14).

Interesting, as I dont know if I seen that before. Do you read from the King James version?

Also, what about the firmament lol?

The "firmament" (from the Latin firmamentum, meaning "sky" or "expanse") is mentioned 17 times in the King James Version of the Bible and refers to the expanse of the heavens above the earth.

Nine of the occurrences of firmament are in the first chapter of the Bible as part of the creation account. Genesis 1:6-8 says, "And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day." The "firmament" is called "heaven"; i.e., it is what people see when they stand outside and look up. It is the space which includes the earth's atmosphere and the celestial realm. In the firmament, we see the sun, moon, and stars; in modern translations the firmament is often called the "expanse" or the "sky."

Genesis says that the firmament "separated the water under the expanse from the water above it" (Genesis 1:7). Originally, God created the earth with water "under" the sky (terrestrial and subterranean water) and water "above" the sky—possibly a "water canopy" which enwrapped the earth in a protective layer. Or, the waters above the firmament could simply be a reference to clouds.

We find firmament used again in Psalms: "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork" (Psalm 19:1). Also, in Psalm 150:1, "Praise ye the LORD. . . . Praise him in the firmament of his power."

Firmament is used in only two other books of the Bible: Ezekiel (five times) and Daniel (once). In Ezekiel, each occurrence takes place within a vision. For example, "Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne" (Ezekiel 10:1).

Daniel 12:3 says, "And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever."

In short, the "firmament" is a vast expanse, specifically the atmosphere or sky. The word is found only in the King James Version and other older translations of the Bible.

Thanks for this.

When looking into flat earth, I seen that too, where there could be water above the firmament. If you look at stars and planets through a telescope, they look as if they are under water.

It's hard for non believers to understand, but I believe the bible cover to cover..

I attend bible study once a week and I do a daily devotional, but I'm not a seminary graduate..

When I copy and paste bible verses they are my opinions.

oh, man.... theres so much 'behind the scenes' stuff surrounding the bible. its fuckin outrageous. books omitted, words changed, lots of stuff.... i dunno exactly where i stand on it. but i do intend to read all 'the missing parts' eventually....

Believe me I know! The fact that it was written by a King, was my first clue to not trust the whole thing. You are exactly right as far as changes and deletions. I would like to read the "unfinished tales" as well lol.

KJV (in my opinion) is the closest and most reliable translation thats been written. as for the missing parts, i'm super curious about them.... but i think the fact that they are omitted says that god allowed it.... maybe they're not canon. i dunno....

So you believe in the firmament, and that there is water above it?

by the way, a circle has 'corners' once you define the parameters (north, south, east and west).... just saying....

I hear the KJV is the most reliable as well. The Catholics are withholding a lot of info as well, so maybe they wanted to withhold that info too. After they went on their Crusade, killing thousands. I think they wanted to kill off any that had any other spiritual beliefs aside from Christianity.

Of course I believe in the sky..

The firmament  in the sky refers to Heaven.

What if there are levels of Heaven, like levels of Hell?

According to the bible, the firmament separates the heavens from the earth, with water above the firmament.

I just wish stuff wasnt hidden from us, or changed for THEIR purposes. I just want to know the truth! lol

Maybe thats why they tell us of these other things, like big bang and aliens, to throw us off from the truth.

There is no 'big bang'.   You cant get something from nothing.  No one has ever explained that.

science is as much a religion as anything else.... the big bang and evolution are their 'immaculate conception'.... its a vital role in their belief system.... they need it to be real.... just like they need gravity to explain how we live on a ball.... gravity is called a scientific law even though it meets NONE of the criteria.... its just necessary....

It's literally inconceivable.   They say some particles (such as neutrons, electrons and protons) came together and started all this in the universe.

All I want is a simple answer, Where did the particles come from?   You notice when you research it there is never a direct answer.  It's like listening to Justin Trudeau talk.

NASA even says, In the first second after the universe began, the surrounding temperature was about 10 billion degrees Fahrenheit (5.5 billion Celsius).

How do they know this?  Because math? That's not a good enough answer.  Theres no way some particles just appeared out of nowhere and caused this huge explosion with massive heat.  Do you see the particles in my ass causing an explosion and massive heat?  Yeah because math, bro.  So stupid.

There are many questions about our universe that are just not answered properly today.  I dont believe any of it.

Science is the new religion.  They think they have all the answers but there is no back up.  They dont know, so it must be true.
