They are all prime single malts with the exception of the Johnnie Walkers...novelty blends.



The top shelf are all Islay malts...the greatest of them all.

Very nice.  Alcohol is limited in my house.  My kid bought me Davidd Tea buddha blend for xmas.  It's very scrumptious.

It's a nice little nook to savour a dram, and for the wife to enjoy her wine and gins and tonic.



It looks a bit "mannish" from that angle, but behind me are some nice club chairs for the girls...

There are countless ideas out there for home decor but this is one of the ugliest ones, I must say. I do not want sticks in any corner of my home. I would much rather put a tall plant. A tall real plant. No fake plants for me, thank you.

I don't mind these berries though. They are available at the grocery store. I saw them the other day and wanted to grab them but instead went to pick up my cooking ingredients and decided to grab them on the way out but they were gone quickly.

But you have to ask yourself, "Are they appealing to your senses?" What do sticks do for you? It does nothing for me. I follow a principle that it has to make you feel good. You shouldn't go with it just because it is the "popular" thing. It has to have meaning to you. My surrounding has to have meaning to me. That's just me though. Anyone can do what they want.

I also love to decorate with animal sculptures. You name the animal, I want it. Just not snake or skunk. I love horses, buffalo, all the animal native to my continent.

Many homes now don't have curtains. To each his own. I like the multi-tiered end table. Nice. I like the vase with flowers and the books on the coffee table. Nice touch. In my view, you cannot go wrong with an oriental rug. This one is just exquisite.

I cannot deny that...but most of those bottles cost $100 and up...it kind of dampens the enthusiasm to quaff. It's more a "savour" bar.

I've been on a health kick for most of the last 7 weeks and have cut out alcohol, carbs, sugary drinks, and heavily curtailed cigarettes so I can only look wistfully at Bricktop's family photo.



Although I'm quite pleased with my weight loss @1-3 kg per week and am fitting into clothes I haven't been able to rock in a couple of years.  :thumbup:



It's the bright spot from constant vegetable and herbal tea intake but does leave me craving some fatty foods aside from certain seafoods and avocados.

This kinda makes me feel grateful for being not being able to drink, but then I do have my own other personal addictions, lol.

Lol that kind of reminds me when I used to play those computer games that allows players to build and customize their own homes, setting up a home bar in my virtual house is always a must.  :001_tongue:
