I think I might turn the heating down a notch.
And hit the pool.

Congratulations, I guess.

But, you hope it's the last.
It won't be. Not until the planet starts to cool.
I might be MY last.
Our time here is short. I'm preparing to prepare to get ready to relocate in the next few years.

Some place with cooler temperatures?
Yes.
Towards the coast.
The climate here is horrible.

Adelaide is a coastal city.
It is located on the shores of a gulf, somewhat inland from what is the open Southern Ocean.
The southern coastline experiences cooler weather in summer, by some 10 degrees or so.
What were once a string of small villages 40 years ago have joined to become a single coastal township where many Adelaideans move to to escape the brutal summer heat.

I understand....Adelaide has oppressive heat.
It falls within the extreme heat flow from the desert centre. The southern cost, a mere 100km away, often sits below the more intense hot air systems that flow from the desert and move easterly.
No district can avoid heat waves all the time...but the southerly coast is on average 10C cooler.
Unfortunately, this also applies in winter.

Farenheit or celcius? You guys are in prime summer time. I could never live in heat like that, it would make me crazy. I enjoyed the heat in Florida when I was there, but one week was enough. I dont even like the heat here in summer, I HAVE to have the AC on.
Celsius.
113 Fahrenheit.
10.28 am. 39.8C.
I'm hitting the pool.
I don't mind the heat if I have access to water.
Hasn't rained here since October...I may have to start drinking my whisky neat.

They fried one on the footpath.

It's the trick part of trick or treat..
I haven't had eggs thrown at my house, toilet paper on trees or windows soaped.
And today it's cold.
