Title: More muslim "immigration" nonsense.

We held the Invictus games here recently.



3 Afghanis refused to return to Afghanistan because "they feel Afghanistan isn't a good place to have a disability."



Not that their lives were in peril. Because Afghanistan doesn't have the disability support services Australia does...paid for by the taxpayer.



Now, above and beyond that, why did the Australian government grant a temporary visa to these parasites? They could have returned to Afghanistan and applied for immigration like everyone else. There is NO argument for asylum other than these opportunists are trying to jump the queue.



They could also have gone to Pakistan, Bangla Desh, Turkey or even Saudi Arabia if they wished.



But no. They want a western country to take pity, and pay their medical bills for the rest of their lives.

Funny, Muslims never want to immigrate to rich, discrimination-free, human rights respecting paradises in the Gulf. They all want to come to the islamophobic West.

Multiculturalism is a bait and switch.  It was supposed to mean you come to a country and bring some of your culture with you but assimilate into the dominant culture.  Now it means you come to a country and impose your values on every one else.

I'm sure many do.  Just as I am sure that all the immigrants on this site are making a better Canada and A better US.



But the system is broken and it is becoming more broken all the time.



For instance in years past in the US an immigrant needed a job and a sponsor to pay their bills if they couldn't work.  According to the US census 63% of immigrants in the US receive some form of welfare.  Now even illegal immigration is normalized and criminal aliens in sanctuary cities are difficult to deport.  Trudeau is well on his way towards normalizing illegal immigration in Canada. Increasingly  Muslims are gaining political power in the US and canada and they are forcing their values on the rest of us.  Public Free speech on immigration matters is a near impossible venture.



We are moving rapidly away from the melting pot idea of come in and assimilate.



Now the dominant culture is disparaged and people are encouraged not to assimilate but rather protect their own tribe and promote its values over western values.  This is recipe for increased tribalism and Balkanization and further destruction of western values like free speech rights.  This is a bait and switch, it is nothing like the melting pot immigration system of years past.

Tell those Honduran "caravans" to change direction and head south.



We'll accept ALL survivors. If they can swam THAT far, we'll put them in the Olympics.

Frankly, since I left as a teen in the early 80s, I have not lived there again. I just visited sporadically during the summers when my children were growing up. I wanted them to visit their mother's hometown and spend time with their grandparents and relatives.



So my firsthand experience of how things were really like in the country lasted only til I was 17. I am more concerned about investing my time and energy in the community I belong to.

I like visiting all my relatives when we go back to Tainan and they are so good to us..
