They refer to the robots as she or her and believe it reinforces dangerous stereotypes and behaviour if 'she' is unable to reject 'her' owner.
Reminds me of those gun control loonies out there who insist banning guns is necessary because apparently the gun ('he' or 'she') is dangerous and can't refrain from killing people or resisting its utilization by its owner.

But it brings up something else we should consider. If using a mechanical device to pleasure oneself is immoral, what about the rights of dildos, vibrators, massage chairs, penis and vagina pumps, and back scratchers?
