There is no such thing as a legal gun (except those prescribed as illegal by law, such as fully automatic military rifles etc).



Legality rests with the person in possession of it at any particular time.



But you can be sure that the person who was carrying will claim he was only carrying it for "defensive" purposes.

Exactly. The legality rests on the legal status of the possessor (note; not the "owner").



The gun's legal status never changes.

Closeby where cc lives, a 42 year old realtor was shot to death by a Muslim guy invading his home. A gun might have killed that fucker & saved the mans life

It only "might" save lives like you say, but no doubt at a cost to others.  Give everyone a gun and we'll have the same problem as the US.  What should be done is to just claim insurance, and let the police investigate.

Anyway, you can get a non restricted with a criminal record. And if you ever read anybody's posts, you would know I worked in Pennsylvania.

People with severe mental health issues are now treated as "special" human beings.





Many of these shooters have had an extensive history of mental illness.
