Over here, lotteries are dominated by huge investment organisations that swamp each draw with millions of tickets, reducing their odds of winning dramatically.
The chances of one-off buyers winning is extremely remote. And if they do, the pool is usually shared with larger syndicates.

it seems most of the jackpots in Canada are won by individual or workplace pools..
We have two major lotteries, one where you pick your own numbers and another that where the numbers are computer generated.
