I've been to many concerts. Dylan, Stones, McCartney, Bowie...all great.



But as a musician and performer, this guy killed them all. The stage was his natural habitat (it was shaped liked his TAFKAP symbol).

Oh, don't get me wrong. I like Prince (or, as I call him, "The Artist Formerly Known As The Artist Formerly Known As Prince"). It's just that I overdosed on his music back then through no choice of mine; I worked at a video game arcade from the late 80's to the mid-90's and we had a jukebox in there that saw constant use by the kids. The Prince CD's were heavy in the rotation. Too heavy, eventually. Now, every time I hear a man scream, I think Gett Off is about to start playing (still my fave Prince tune nonetheless).
