OTTAWA — The federal NDP has ejected its candidate in a Halifax-area riding over comments she made last year on social media comparing Israel to Nazi Germany.
Rana Zaman, a social activist and Muslim who has spoken publicly about fighting Islamophobia, won the NDP nomination in Dartmouth-Cole Harbour in early May.

Believe it or not the NDP used to represent the average working man. My union leadership still supports them, but the due paying members do not. This is why I hate my union.

Israel is a liberal democracy that respects human rights. Comparing a Western style liberal democracy to a regime that persecuted or slaughtered everybody that disagreed with them is asinine.

It started a few years back with idiotic PC concepts of morality and immorality being pushed by group A, but has grown greatly from then.
We have now reached a very bad and extreme point .. a point where ANYTHING goes (and is seen as the moral good) when the agenda of group A applies it.
At the same time, we have reached an equally very bad and extreme point wherein ANYTHING the opposite group B says that does not meet group A's approval is dunned .. (in fact is put forward as immoral & evil).
Further, media (ALL media) goes out of its way to make sure everyone hears group A over and over and in a favorable light and on the moral high ground.
That same media stifles group B .. either by painting group B in a bad light for what it says as immoral .. or ... simply stifles what it says such that no one hears it
Western Society is in a very very bad place .. a place it has never been before (to such an extent) .. and .. short of great upheaval, will always be from here on in.
With media both out of control .. and at the same time in total and consolidated control .. plus completely in league with group A .. I see no way for things to improve

Let's see, the ndp hates Israel and pipelines, but only if they carry Canadian oil and gas. They have no objection to foreign tankers carrying M.E. crude. They should seek elected office in UAE.
