All depends, but pretty much yes, because of the weekend.

This year will be weird, as Christmas is on a Wednesday. I know we will prolly get fed at work for lunch, then take off the rest of the day with pay, and have off on Christmas. We might be back to work on Thursday, but boss man may decide to just shut down the rest of the week and go see his family in Tennessee. Me and the secretary may get the option to keep the place open on Thursday and Friday.

You're right. Slow for one thing. Re-basting helps too. Also, dont cut the turkey til its sat for 30 minutes!

That goes for a lot of things! If not, when you cut into it, the juices run out, and makes it dry. I wait at least 20 minutes on a ham and a chicken. I also wait at least 5 minutes after a steak or grilling or frying something.

Not bad here weather wise, but traffic has been sucking all week. I dread getting off work and hopping on the interstate. It almost always takes me an hour and a half if not more to get home on Turkey Eve. I'll be going to the Jam instead of home this evening though.

I usually get a ham from work, but the secretary called out sick, so prolly no ham. I'll remind her on Monday lol. Want my ham damn it!

Yeah the boss's wife's son lives out there. Said something about 18"s. I "think" their pastor went out that way too, and their flight got diverted, and it has been a mess, about to hop on their third plane or something.

Damn that Justin Tradeyou!

I mean if its adult natured is one thing, but family friendly... why not.

I might be wrong....I don't go into breweries.

You can catch a lot of good bands at breweries. Breweries are different than a bar. People are usually more civilized lol.

Only cause I passed out last night, and I still gotta make that pumpkin roll, which takes time lol. After that all I gotta make is my baked beans. I have to leave at 1:30 to go meet up with the lady and eat at her moms at 2:30.

Ask Fash what to do with the leftovers. She can make a gourmet dinner from the stuff that falls off the turkey and sticks to the pan.

A really good day today. All that prep work I was doing for today...we did nothing with. LOL  Out of the blue got a last minute invite to go eat with grand daughters family. Decided we could cook ours tomorrow, and went. Had a great time. It was 70 F and after eating we sat outside and visited for a few hours. We will cook ours tomorrow. Gonna be lots of leftovers...LOL

It was one of those, 'grand daughter is in town and it may be the only chance you have to see her', kind of things. We did arrange a Saturday lunch date.  ac_dance She heads back to school Sunday.

We are in full cooking mode this morning. Dressing is still soaking up a little of the broth but it will be going in soon. Beans are cooking. Peeling potatoes. Cranberry sauce is made. Turkey breast is cooked, just need to pop it back in the oven to warm up. A few other things to do.
