Remember, I fronted Cindybin right after his reappearance there and was carrying on a more or less civil discourse with Peaches on the topic of Disney Studios excursions into political correctness in cinema classics when their board owner 86'ed my ass. Perhaps I wasn't left wing enough. Perhaps they were more interested in Twitter-styled posts that didn't tax their brainpans and bedpans to bursting point, One shall never know.

Spam is against MMP TOS. As long as SM doesn't break TOS, he can stay. If we start having issues, complaints, etc... it will be addressed by my panel. You're also forgetting that Big is a co-owner and despises spammers.

Observation. You might get along well with both forum owners, it is a mistake to think that everyone does. I count at least five currently active posters off the top of my head who would prefer a Martini run forum to the triumvirate you are proposing and if those five split for that particular pasture, others will be dividing their time between your proposed superforum, Martini's New Peoples Forum and most likely, keeping a close eye on Ceedub's forums when they go back live this year.
Short answer, you can amalgamate these forums, it will not have the desired result you are seeking. I surely will not be joining any forum that has proven to be a haven for hackers.

Yeah, I've cooled significantly on the latrinas myself. Quite aside from my own personal experience, I've heard of far too many examples of where they've lost all presence of mind and resorted to behaviour which might at best be described as "violently anti-social". No, they're not absolutely ALL like that, nor do their most visible examples of such enjoy a monopoly on it, but it's near impossible to put unquestioning trust in a person who by their traditions (if not genetics) is liable to start swinfing punches, pulling hair or chasing adversaries about for years after they've made their disinterest in them known.

The truth is that in all but a few isolated cases, all that PI has been willingly handed to me, if not by the very people it pertains to, then by third parties who were plied with it and passed it on unsolicited. I say "nearly all cases" because there have been isolated instances where I've plugged a detail or three into search browsers to determine it's a breach of a PI rule requiring moderation or simply a cunningly concealed troll to pass it off as such. This apparently makes me more of a clear and present danger than say, the owner of Flame Damnation. A site which, if truth be known, is maintained solely for the purposes of archiving any and all details pertaining to the various posters down through the years that its admin (who posts here and with whom you are somewhat friendly towards) can dip into and repost it, even blockspamming entire threads with it in ways that would make Semen Jaw blush.
So yeah, I'm not going to contest the branding of Semen Jaw as a stalker, since by the extremely liberal application of the term a good third of your regulars have been called it at some point or other. Fact is you may have good reason to brand him such or merely think you have good reason; I'm scarcely going to know which it is since I've only the most tangential of associations with the guy and am happy for it to remain that way since he's brought so little to the table on the few occasions I've tangled with him.

Not Flame Truth. We had so few rules there that we didn't need them formalized in a rules post. Ceedub gave me to understand from the outset that the board represented a little something for her to play about with, that didn't preclude contributions from others though certainly wasn't going to be impacted in any way by their complete absence. As long as nothing that got posted was in breach of ToS or US law and was not a deliberate attempt to sabotage the running of the board, anyone who came past was pretty much free to register and moderate their own posting efforts. I had occasion to remove posting privileges for three separate users, each of whom were invited to register fresh accounts to continue posting as soon as they wished. All three chose instead to split the scene for places where they could rail about "being banned" when in actual fact they were really just moderating their actions on the board by their very absence. Which worked fine from my perspective, I sure as hell wasn't interested in micromanaging troublemakers, nor was I overly keen on inspecting every new registrant trying their hand at ban evasion. Much easier to spend the ten seconds it took to slap them over the wrist and invite them to try again I figured, the onus was on them to jump through all the hoops of creating emails, user accounts, profiles etc. A workable system in my book.
Ceedub was a little heavier handed, as is her right. She's the one paying for the damn thing, she gets to make the ultimate call. Which she did by permabanning Abstract Pork on the charge of posting Bonesaw's PI, also nuking SirSuperSouthern's account for reasons I don't know the specifics of as it happened the week before I arrived back there from here. All I know is it was some text he had posted which Ceedub deemed illegal. Oh, and there was her preemptive ban on Caskur, along with a couple of instances of a certain forum owner attempting to register at the forum with a bunch of someone else's PI in their profile. That was caught and actioned long before I ever got wind of it. The result was a forum where the readership to postcount ratio was insanely high and the dickhead quotient practically non-existent.
And no Semen Jaw to be seen. Actually a good many of the rabble were in the habit of steering clear of the place which was fine because postcount was never the primary consideration of that board. Spam is against MMP TOS. As long as SM doesn't break TOS, he can stay. If we start having issues, complaints, etc... it will be addressed by my panel. You're also forgetting that Big is a co-owner and despises spammers.
But again, spam is not a permabannable offense. SM got a 6 week ban on my form for "spam" by Reaper. That's extreme when you consider SM asked nicely to come back and has behaved since.
I'm a fair and just owner. I'm also objective and not just going to play favorites. I would like to restore a sense of justice online and not have it feel like such a clique.

What Icantell you is this; SG has already fractured, more than once in fact, with a few jumping ship because they either had a problem with Flea, with Jersey Gurl, with certain other posters or a combination of the three. Some have made the trip back. Others have not. And a similar antipathy has been expressed towards certain members of Mudcock's forum and yes, it has included the owner, along with at least two of her one time trusted lieutenants, both of whom she has seen fit to throw under the bus in recent times. I've even marked a couple of disparaging remarks that indicate a few of your regulars are not entirely on board with the idea, they just havent been as virulent as some of the eruptions I've seen going on at SG particularly.

We had IP bans, in fact I will be banning more as we are getting hundreds and even thousands of guests from China.

I know you did, the ad hoc warnings I was encountering periodically at the time stated as such. I also knew I had not broken any of your rules at the time to warrant those bans which you were claiming at the time did not exist. That is why I simply shrugged my shoulders and fired up a different VPN exit node. Takes me less than two seconds to do, less time than it takes to place the ban and way less brainpower than it does to manage the banlist after the fact should you decide it was getting too unwieldy and needed to clean it up without letting people back in who you had a genuine reason to ban in the first place.
It's no skin off my dick how a forum staff member chooses to run their board. I'm not shelling out the readies to host it, they are. If they wish to distinguish themselves as no better than a CBT, VF or BF admin, that is surely their affair.

As someone who has, for years, developed a rep as an impartial and intelligent poster, who's run his own board for a spell, who gets along with everyone on any venue, who's respectful of a diversity of viewpoints, and whose output is enjoyed by all, Joe would fit the bill.
