Title: My PC Monitor is packing it in...
Post by: Anonymous on March 01, 2020, 04:19:29 AM
You want to live even semi-rural?

Nelson?  No monitors.

Castlegar?  No monitors.

Nothing.  Either buy online and have it shipped, or drive the four hours to Kelowna!

He needs to browse the forums. Can do that on the smartphone but the experience is not the same so he'll go for the drive. Mel won't settle for cheap budget monitor. He wants and needs premium.

I don't think it's a good idea for Mel to get a cat.

Yeah, no pets.

Maybe some house plants?

Why do you care what I post?  Find a different thread if you don't like a certain thread.  You can also start your own threads (boring or non-boring) also.

You're probably right...

I'm more of a doggo guy...  Once I get the house reno's in order, I may look for a canine companion.

Dog ownership requires a level of responsibility you aren't capable of.

The closest PC monitors available, (all two of them), where only available in Trail!

So I took that trip today (about an hour), and finally replaced my monitor!

I am shocked that my new monitor also solved my mouse lag...  I had big time lag with mouse cursor, but wrote that off as a non-monitor hardware/software issue, possibly related to the internet connection I can get here where I live.

I had other issues with my system also, and a new monitor solved those issues also.
