I asked the following simple question of her :   what happens if major companies whose business models do not tether them to US soil determine Bernie's policies impact their bottom line too adversely and decide to move operations to areas more favorable to their interests, taking hundreds of thousands of jobs with them?

I'm going to be honest.  I grew up in the liberal SF Bay Area. With very liberal parents, leftist Dad really...really left, as in LEFT. lol  I was much like Lotus when I first encountered forums online after the Yahoo discussion boards were closed. I was outraged that people could think like that!



I was arrogant that I knew what was what and didn't listen to other perspectives, I insulted people too.  Maybe not quite as quick as Lotus, but I got there eventually.  But as I encountered good people that were different than I and had different ideas I began to expand my thinking.   Some of my detractors say that I flip flop and have no core values or principles.



But they don't understand my core values and principles.  They are to learn, to seek truth and much of that is driven by data and history.  So, I'm more centrist as I've learned new things. I feel like it's good to grow and learn, not get stuck in one place.  Lotus, and those like her, are stuck.



 There are things I know we should do to take care of the more vulnerable populations that most people consider not worthy or throwaways, so I'll never be on the right wing - but let's leave that for another discussion on the politics board.



So, yeah she may have mental problems, but she also isn't opening to listening.

With very liberal parents, leftist Dad really...really left, as in LEFT. lol  I was much like Lotus when I first encountered forums online after the Yahoo discussion boards were closed. I was outraged that people could think like that!



I was arrogant that I knew what was what and didn't listen to other perspectives, I insulted people too.  Maybe not quite as quick as Lotus, but I got there eventually.  But as I encountered good people that were different than I and had different ideas I began to expand my thinking.   Some of my detractors say that I flip flop and have no core values or principles.



But they don't understand my core values and principles.  They are to learn, to seek truth and much of that is driven by data and history.  So, I'm more centrist as I've learned new things. I feel like it's good to grow and learn, not get stuck in one place.  Lotus, and those like her, are stuck.



 There are things I know we should do to take care of the more vulnerable populations that most people consider not worthy or throwaways, so I'll never be on the right wing - but let's leave that for another discussion on the politics board.



So, yeah she may have mental problems, but she also isn't opening to listening.
