....in that he seemed to have this urgency to rapidly sell his Langley condo & get the hell out of the Lower Mainland.
And he often mentioned this Chinese Menace.
And lo and behold, how events unfolded proved him right.
First came the real estate boondoggle of the condos not being able to get their insurance.
Then came the coronavirus from China.
And then came the subsequent downturn and the inevitable collapse of the Real Estate Sales in the BC Lower Mainland.
A sixth sense? Psychic powers?
Do those with his reputed ADHD have this heightened awareness about the urgency of a situation that others don't?
Kinda like mathematical savants who have heightened arithmetical abilities but yet often suffer from poor eyesight and albinoism.
Anyways, a fascinating case.
Strangely enough, I wasn't going to make the move until this Spring.
I threw the sellers a low-ball offer (which I'm glad I did now), and wouldn't budge from that offer. I almost expected them to tell me to fuck off, but they accepted.
So at that point, I was kind of committed. Making the move in the Winter came with additional challenges, but I handled them.
