I've worn a mask from the time I first heard about this virus..
Everybody in Taiwan wears a mask too, and Taiwan have fewer cases of coronavirus than Calgary.
Official advice on whether people should wear masks in public could be changed after new evidence emerged suggesting they could protect people from coronavirus.
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has consistently said that only those who have symptoms or are caring for someone with COVID-19 should wear masks.
Infections disease specialist Professor David Heymann, who is chairing the panel, warned that recommendations on masks were fraught with problems because people often wear them incorrectly or fail to dispose of them properly.
"There is right now a debate about the usefulness of masks because Hong Kong has provided some evidence that masks may be useful in protecting individuals from infection," he told a Chatham House briefing.

My husband gets industrial masks from work..
You can get washable masks.

A coworker gave me a box of 50. They are level 3. My dad also gave me some. Just ordered 200 on eBay for $144 Caandian. The seller list them as 3 layer. I hope they are what we call level 3 which is just below N95. I just watched a video of a young mother dying from the covid-19. I believe they only did it is b/c they don't want the locals fighting with the hospital for the masks due to the shortage. Meanwhile China is on overdrive making masks, my brother and I are planning to import a cargo of high quality mask and sell them to the hospitals. Since our ecommerce and clothing customization business is closed for now, might as well sell mask or even produce them.

Yea, it wouldn't take long for medical staff to go on strike, and like Dinky says the system will collapse, soon it'll be like Wuhan or Italy.

Literally, old Herman has at least three dozen bandanas. Hey, I am a biker. I am self isolating on my farm. But, if I was going into Kindersley everyday I could wear a different bandana on my face instead of my head. That would keep my from touching my beard.

Like I was telling ceec, I could stock on supplies and not leave my farm for two weeks. But, if I had to go into town everyday, I would wear a bandana on my face.
