You got the turn signal...so did the opposite dude....idiot next to him probably just assumed the guy next him was turning and the light was green for him too...seen it too often.

I would figure there was no green light on other side of intersection .... just red for right lane to stay put and flashing green arrows on both sides to turn left



One can see the 4th section of the light container flashing a green arrow .. Sadly it does happen
